A relatively dense asteroid field orbiting Jaspis Prime at 2.25 x 10^7 kilometers or 0.15 AU, the Prime Asteroid Belt is home to the largest Frontier Asteroid Base in the system: Fortress (Weltraumflotte). It is also home to the sparse remnants of the shattered Pirate Clans from the Pirate Wars.

Small clusters of asteroids that lead and follow Jaspis IV in its orbital path, the Jaspis IV Trojans were some of the first asteroids outside of the Jaspis IV planetary system to be mined for raw materials. Most of them have been mined at his point and are now being used as space colonies with a combined population of 500,000 individuals.

Similar to the Jaspis IV Trojans, the Jaspis V Trojans are still rich in material wealth and are currently being mined. The Jaspis V Trojans usually have a variable population between 300 and 500 individuals depending upon the bi-quarterly shift change cycles.

A lightly populated asteroid field orbiting Jaspis Prime at 2.30 x 10^10 kilometers or 153.75 AU, the Outer Jaspis Belt sits between the orbits of Jaspis V and Jaspis VI. It also holds the remaining twelve Listening Posts in the Jaspis System. The Outer Jaspis Belt marks the Hyper-limit, an area where use of Hyperspace Fold Drives is at its safest. Everything towards Jaspis Prime increases the danger of using Hyperspace Fold.
