Star System UX-16 is a star system charted by Kitsurugi Uesu during his departure from Central Yamatai. This 10-planet system has no habitable worlds and is used as a mining area.

The First Expeditionary Fleet began mining operations on UX-16 IV in YE 30. In YE 32, a Frontier Starport was built on the fourth planet. In YE 36, the starport became part of the PAINT public transportation system and has a Tenba that regularly visits and provides passenger flights to Shinjuku Starport on Hanako's World.

The Yamatai Star Empire placed global communications networks of Emrys Satellites into orbit of all of the system's terrestrial worlds in YE 36. In YE 38, Trinary Star Shipping established a storefront in the mining colony.

In YE 41, UX-16 was conquered by forces from the Interstellar Kingdom Of Kuvexia during the Kuvexian Invasion of YE 41.
