Build and Skin Colour: Average, slightly curvaceous build. Skin color is very light caucasian.

Facial Features and Eye Colour: Very Russian / Jewish face. Slightly rounded, but pleasantly shaped. Small, mousy nose. Thick eyebrows. Terse lips. Large, green eyes. Light freckling under the eyes.

Hair Colour and Style: Hair color is a very unique shade of deep maroon that is completely different from any other regular hair color. The color is very natural, yet altogether unique. Hair is curly and falls to her shoulders. No bangs. Hair is thick and has lots of volume.

Distinguishing Features: Unique hair color and green eyes.

Personality: Down-to-earth, blunt, and kind. She is generally patient with others. She is not the type to have enemies. She is very normal compared to the friends she generally chooses. She is more reserved and rational than most. Her calm, accepting attitude seems to attract bizarre people, but she seems to enjoy the exciting nature of their company. Despite this, she can seem a little harsh at times, and is dedicatedly stubborn. She doesn't respond well to jabs at her character, no matter how good humoredly they are made. Her harshness only really comes out when someone is being inconsiderate of another.

Her desire is simply to do her best to bring peace, understanding, and a bit of liberalism to the universe.

Verna and her family lived on Nepleslia (then part of Yamatai) for most of her life. When she was 12, they had moved away from the chaos of their homeworld. Her parents had been engineers for a major military production firm. Sensing a coming conflict, they took their substantial savings and left. They chose a considerably quiet colony on Albini. When invasion threatened the planet in YE 28, they fled the planet. In the 2 years following their flight, they traveled to whatever planet seemed the most stable. When the UOC formed, they were onboard a cargo ship making stops along the Nataria Spacelane. When they got to UOC space, Verna decided she was through wandering aimlessly through space. She jumped ship and signed up for the UOCPF.

Verna and her family are very intelligent. Her parents, Jessica and Alix Camhi, were both physical engineers, mid-level designers for secondary systems in many spacecraft. She was not spared in her education, and at the age of 18 had learned everything her parents had to offer. Rather than going on to higher education, which she believes to be nothing but a forum for bureaucratic nonsense, she decided to leave for the outer colonies and join the peacekeeping force to help achieve universal peace. She left her 12 year old sister, Nicole, behind with them.

Verna has always been a very active critic of society and politics. From an early age, she has found endless problems with all the major factions of the universe. Her personal desire has always been to get 'stupid idiots' out of political power, and achieve peaceful reform. Her self-taught knowledge of sociology and philosophy is fairly advanced, if not quite liberally biased.

She is familiar with the provisions of the Peacekeeper Charter of YE 30 and is familiar with the basic skills of negotiating, first contact, and psychology.

Verna is familiar with basic radio operation and procedures and can make transmissions to and receive transmissions from others through headsets, starships, power armor, and shuttles in both combat and non-combat conditions. She is fluent in Yamataian and Nepleslian. She can speak and write both correctly and efficiently and can write reports, fill forms, issue orders under fire, etc.

Verna is capable of operating any computer system in use by the United Outer Colonies Peacekeeping Forces. She is proficient in entering and/or searching for information.

All skills taught to her at basic peacekeeper training.

She knows how to diagnose and treat minor conditions, apply first aid and emergency care (CPR, etc), and perform field surgery in emergency situations. Standard Peacekeeper training.

Verna received intensive hand-to-hand combat training (primarily focused on disabling opponents) and has followed up that knowledge with a rigorous training program. Weapons she is trained in include pistols of all types, knives, grenades (and other forms of explosive weaponry) and rifles of all kinds. She is in excellent physical shape and has considerable endurance. She is also able to pilot power armors.
