Kur'As'Co 'spinner' Lmanel is a young female Lorath tailor. Tidy in her work, but not in her own appearance. She enjoys changing her hair color often. Keeps pet spiders and sometimes weaves things out of their silk. She has very long, pointed ears that droop slightly and have three 'triangles' of flesh sticking down near the tips. Her wings are short even for a lorath, and have been bleached so that she can dye them to match her hair.

Spinner's usual job includes the initial tailoring of uniforms for many Origin Employees, as well as making formal clothing for the civilians on Dawn Station. she is very enthusiastic about her work, but is sometimes a little air-headed. She rarely makes mistakes, but when she does, she may explode into a fit of rage at herself.

Spinner was tailoring a uniform for one Fieke Amsel when she was attacked by a Mishhu parasite. Fieke managed to kill the parasite, and another parasite that followed, but not before Spinner took heavy injuries to her face and hands. After Spinner returned from the hospital, she returned to her duties as a tailor, but now has much higher security at her place and always carries a sidearm.
