Build and Skin Color: A solid but curvy Yamataian woman with pale porcelain skin.

Eyes and Facial Features: She has alluring deep green eyes with silver flecks, and a round heart-shaped face that is seemingly always smiling.

Hair Color and Style: She has long red hair that she keeps in pristine condition and styled to be simple and free. Sometimes, she puts it up in a ponytail or other such tie-ups – these situations are rare, however.

Distinguishing Features: Sekai is a very charismatic young woman that loves to leave an impression on everyone.

Personality: Sekai takes enjoyment from the enjoyment of others. She's almost altruistic in her attempts to get others to laugh and smile or have fun – but the truth is she loves attention. For her, her best times are when she's on stage performing. 'Angry' isn't a word normally used to describe Sekai, and it's likely because she's very rarely ever visibly frustrated. She's very patient, but aside from that she takes a leaf from the book for passive-aggressives. She's more likely to insinuate or frustrate people who disturb her emotionally than to openly argue or get physically violent.

Kyoto Sekai was born in a down-town hospital in Kyoto City, Yamatai. Her Geshrin parents loved her dearly, and barred nothing from their child. Over time, Sekai learned to dance, sing, act, and perform. Her debut was on her High School's stage as the leading role. It was a disaster; and the experience all but traumatized her because while the parents and teachers in the audience wouldn't boo her down she could see how absolutely horrible she – and her peers – were. Her father died some time following the play. After that she threw herself into study. If she couldn't be an actress, she would do her father proud be a lawyer or a doctor or something high-up and well paying. In the end she got none of these. After some cajoling and pushing from her parents and friends she competed in a local contest whose prize was a record-deal. She won, and her song titled 'Mysteries of the Universe' went out to the public over the internet via Lazarus and in limited physical copies in stores. Soon several small-time gigs were opened up to her, and within a year she had formed her band known as “The Kyoto Project”. Within days of its formation she also took the Yamataian body because she felt it was more advantageous.

After realizing that her career as a singer was in jeopardy, Kyoto Sekai enlisted in the Star Army of Yamatai as a medic. After finishing her training, she was immediately assigned to serve aboard the YSS Sakura II Plot under, at the time, Kage Yaichiro Taisa. When she arrived, the ship was on alert after a recent attack on Nishitama. Soon she was needed on the ship as a medic. She attended to the wounded and prepped them for transport.

Soon the need for her was over and she was ordered to Fort Minori Reserve Center and was soon upgraded to a Type 33 body. She spent some small number of years there, working in between doing gigs on the weekends, before the Kuvexian War began. She continued working at Minori for a time, but she knew what was looming. She put in a request for transfer and less than a year after the beginning of the war, she saw herself getting transfer orders to the Kaiyō. She arrived at Gemini Star Fortress to begin her time on the new Fuji-class Expeditionary Gunship. Before she could join, however, she got an interesting proposition to continue her career as a pop star.

And, so, she took it.

Sekai has been trained in common Star Army medical procedure and skills. She can make 7-Line radio emergency assistance requests, perform triage on wounded, and is capable and licensed to perform emergency field surgery on wounded (i.e. shrapnel removal, bullet removal, etc..) Sekai has memorized and understands the use of all items on the Medical Guide ⚕️. Finally, she is also licensed to give physicals.

Sekai has received a basic education in mathematics, up to and including algebra and trigonometry. She is also very much capable of balancing finances, and has self-studied in debt- and profit-controls for businesses.

Sekai is capable of operating any computer system that uses the Kessaku OS, found on all Star Army starships. She is proficient in entering and/or searching for information. She is also skilled in the use of certain electronic keyboard musical equipment, including synthesizers and even volumetrically projected systems.

Kyoto Sekai has received hand-to-hand combat training, followed up with a rigorous training program. She is skilled and trained in combat both in Yamatai-like conditions and in zero-gravity, with and without weapons. Sekai has been educated in general arms training, including knives, energy pistols, power armor and its standard equipment, and maintenance of said weapons and equipment.

Sekai can act, sing, perform, tell stories and jokes like a pro. She spent five years of her life during school to learn her art, and is now in the process of perfecting it.

Sekai can use basic math including trigonometry, and basic calculus. She also knows by heart the common laws of the Empire and its colonies, and the criminal justice system used to enforce those laws.

Sekai can speak Yamataian and Trade fluently. She can hold lengthy conversations regarding advanced topics. Sekai can also publicly speak with clear diction so everyone has no trouble understanding her. Sekai is familiar with basic radio operation and procedures and can make transmissions to and receive transmissions from other characters through headsets, starships, power armor, and shuttles in both combat and non-combat conditions.

Sekai likes to keep in shape, and as a result of her recent career choice has found it prudent to learn how to defend herself. To kill two birds with one stone, she takes lessons in Judo, and Jiu Jitsu.
