Yumeko “YuYu” Takeda is a player character played by Nyton.

Height: 163 cm/5'4 in Mass: 45 kg/99 lbs Measurements: 36-24-36 B cup Build and Skin Color: Yumeko has an athletic build with olive skin tone. She has defined muscles that give her a “sporty” look while still being flexible.

Eyes and Facial Features: Yumeko has green almond shaped eyes that turn almost hazel in the sunlight. She has a wide face with a large forehead. She has a thin nose bridge that tapers to a small nose. Her cheeks are not pronounced with a well set jaw that does matches her facial distribution. Her lips are thin and she has a broad smile.

Ears: Yumeko has furry cat like ears that match her hair.

Hair Color and Style: Yumeko has dark blonde hair that she keeps pulled back into a pony tail with the bangs loose to cover her forehead during her time off. While on dury she braids it to keep it more under control. When not bound her hair hangs down just past her shoulders to the middle of her back.

Distinguishing Features: Yumeko has a small manufacturers tattoo in the underside of her foot in the arch.

Personality: Yumeko has a “can do” attitude towards life, is confident in herself and has a healthy dose of optimism. She is willing to go the extra mile to get work done. She is not overly aggressive but can get competitive when challenged. She loves working on machinery and is usually talking to whatever she is fixing while working through to the solution. It helps that the MEGAMI is usually responding back to her while she works. She does not neglect other life forms and is friendly and cheerful to her crew mates and happy to make new friends.

Yumeko works hard and plays hard. Once work is done she eagerly sets off to play raquetball, volleyball, or party with her friends. She dresses casually and can be a little flirty. She knows she is fairly attractive despite her discomfort about the size of her forehead. Rather than display this discomfort she will hide it with her hair or show irritation if someone should happen to say anything. She is not overtly chaste and possesses a normal sex drive.

Yumeko enjoys the thrill of working in combat conditions as an engineer. She has no aversion to donning a power armor and having to go to the front but she would just as soon allow the pros to handle that while she keeps the ship together.

Ketsurui Zaibatsu

Yumeko was created in YE 30 just after the end of the first Mishhurvurthyar war. With the end of the war there was a massive reshifting or resources and demobilization. Yumeko opted to delay entry into the Star Army and instead earned some livelihood locally to pay back some of her creation costs. She earned enough to travel for a while with the promise to return and enlist in the Star Army if needed. During her travels she fostered an enjoyment for outdoor life, especially the coastal regions. She earned her means by working at mechanic shops fixing land based vehicles while roaming. When the second Mishhurvurthyar war began in YE 31 she immediately returned to make good on her promise. She enlisted as a Technician with her specialty in Engineering.

After graduating in late YE 31 she was assigned to the YSS Kuroko, a Eikan class cruiser where she worked in engineering keeping the ship together during several skirmishes and fleet actions. The ship survived and in YE 32 she was reassigned to the YSS Hebereke, a Heitan carrier class ship with a reputation for poor performance due to maintenance breakdowns no matter how much maintenance was done. Yumeko worked in both engineering and on deck fixing fighter ships. After the Hebereke was decommissioned she was sent to Kyoto war college to attend the Nito Heisho course. Upon graduation in YE 33 she was assigned to the YSS Genesis.

Yumeko is familiar with basic radio operation and procedures and can make transmissions to and receive transmissions from other characters through headsets, starships, power armor, and shuttles in both combat and non-combat conditions. She is fluent in Yamataian and Nepleslian and can communicate telepathically. She can speak and write both correctly and efficiently and can write reports, fill forms, issue orders under fire, etc.

Yumeko received hand-to-hand combat training, followed up with a rigorous training program. She is skilled and experienced in combat both in Yamatai-like conditions and in zero-gravity, with and without weapons. Weapons she is trained in include energy pistols, rifles, grenades, knives, and power armor.

Yumeko is capable of operating any computer system that uses the Kessaku OS, found on all Star Army starships. She is proficient in entering and/or searching for information. She is experienced in using MEGAMI to assist her in tracking down and isolating problems and getting assistance in solving anomalies.

Yumeko received basic mathematics training, to including up to algebra and trigonometry.

Yumeko is familiar with and able to fix most problems with starship components and to an extent, systems. During her tenure on the Kuroko and Hebereke, Yumeko has had practice repairing the engine systems of Star Army Starships.

Yumeko has attended leadership classes at Kyoto War College and learned squad-based tactics from textbooks and seminars. Her experience is mostly from watching her supervisors command the engineering team. She has not had any actual experience as a supervisor and has yet to develop a leadership style.

Yumeko enjoys playing raquetball alone or in pairs and volleyball with teams.
