As a 33A, Marisa is tall for a Neko, at 6'0“. She has an unusually voluptuous body, wide at the hips and large-chested, with a waist that is, while not pudgy or round, quite a bit thicker than the average. Her skin is pale and soft, with patches of freckles on the cheeks and nose, limbs, and chest. Her face is round and wide, with slightly prominent cheeks. Her big, round eyes are a deep blue color, and she has a small, cute button nose, and her lips are full and plump. Her long, red hair falls down to her lower back, and is typically worn in a single braid.

The opposite of her large body, Marisa's personality is shy and reserved. She speaks softly, often stumbling upon her words when not in a professional setting. Even in those, she says only as much as she has to and no more. She has only been known to relax and open up with the rare few people who have had the patience to work their way into her personal life, where she feels comfortable and secure.

She tends to keep her body withdrawn and her head down in public, facing the floor, but her eyes are always in motion, taking in information all around her. Indeed, she is very observant, whether due to paranoia or just a natural curiosity, or even both.

She gets along most well with patient, caring, and calm people, regardless of gender, species, or any other factors. With them, she can eventually let her guard down and begin to connect. She is intimidated by those who are more brash and outgoing, catering to their wishes to appease them and watching her words and actions especially closely, hesitant to displease them even by accident.

Having been created near the end of YE 39, Marisa's history is yet a short one. Like most Nekovalkyrja, Marisa was created to serve the Star Army of Yamatai, and was immediately sent to socialization training. Here, she exhibited a natural shyness and in fact avoided much socialization, only interacting with others when more pushy Nekos made her. She made a few acquaintances, but no true friends, and this period of her life was uneventful.

Basic Training was where she finally began to stand out. Though still quiet and nervous around people, Marisa showed a great deal of calm under pressure and danger in simulations and wargames. Perhaps most notably, she showed a natural ability to remain unheard and unseen, possibly as an extension of her desire to do so socially. In addition, although all with a digital brain have perfect memories, Marisa was exceptional at gathering as much detail in the moment as possible and picking out and applying the most pertinent ones in any given situation. Due to these skills, she was chosen to attend SELECT to qualify as a potential SAINT operative.

This last part of her training saw her hone herself fully. Despite her malleable and subservient personality, she managed the psychological pressure of the selection process and the following indoctrination courses surprisingly well. She distinguished herself in training for combat, infiltration, assassination, and gathering intel. Upon her final graduation, she was assigned to Task Force Inquisition.
