The EM-J2-E3401 is the standard control subsystem for all EM-J2 Series Servitor Android, it became available in YE 34.
The J2-E3401 is how all the components of the EM-J2 Series communicate. It is modeled on the human system but is completely synthetic. It has a myriad of connections that the components are attached to. Each connection is secured so that it will not come loose when jarred.
J2-E3401 has three different functions.
Control is the primary purpose of the J2-E3401. This part of the network is bidirectional communication between the EM-J2-E3400 Control System and the body components. These filaments are fiber optic threads. This includes feedback from the various components, as well as data such as pressure from the fingers to determine how strong the android is gripping something.
Unlike the human system, the J2-E3401 also supplies power to different parts of the android. Power nodes are directly connected to the Power system. Nodes are located at each shoulder, hip, and neck.
Lastly, the J2-E3401 provides sensor data from the respective skin overlay. Depending on the type of overlay the number of connections increases. The EM-J2-A3400 has the least, the EM-J2-A3401, has more than the basic, and the EM-J2-A3402 has the most.
