Designed as a simple entertainment amenity, entertainment booths are compartments built into or added onto starships and installations, these compartments integrate various forms of electronic entertainment to provide users with a cheap form of amusement. Entertainment booths can be simple 2D image viewing booths, to fully immersive neural interfacing and physically stimulating simulations. Such booths can be designed for single user, or multi user operation. Some entertainment booths are designed to incorporate live performance elements as well.
