Mid-Corporals are just that, the middle. They stand in the center of the enlisted ranks and ranks of corporal, and are often use as such in the flexible command structure in the SMDION. They are most commonly found in positions of either team or sometimes, squad leadership. A character of this rank makes 250 DA a week.
