Bulletproof wool is a traditional fabric made from wool blended with para-aramid (like Kevlar) fibers, and typically treated with a shear-thickening fluid. The resulting fabric is flexible, extremely resistant to penetration, and transfers less kinetic energy to the wearer than pure para-aramid bulletproof vests, and maintains its performance even when soaked wet.
Standard thickness has a damage rating of Tier 1, Light Anti-Personnel (personnel scale).
