NovaCorp supplied the antineutron technology – relying upon their superior mass visa vie positrons and their magnetically neutral state to ensure not only a greater kinetic impact, greater released energy and also greater range – removing the natural repellent nature of positrons and antiprotons. The technology needed to create antineutrons is somewhat larger and slower than that needed for positrons, but the offsetting factor is the markedly increased damage potential and range of the weapon.
