Star Army PANTHEON Nodal Support Drones (NSD) are hand-sized self-recharging multi-function drone units under the Mindy AI's control. Launched by the Mindy power armor during combat, these units (up to 6) will form up around their host Mindy and correlate targeting data. The NSDs are good for poking around corners and getting alternate points of view. They can also be made to act as countermeasures and even shoot at the enemy with their integrated weapons - these come with lethal and stun settings, as well as standard or heavy firing modes. As an added feature, the drones will automatically be set to shoot down incoming missiles if no countermeasures are deployed or are depleted.
When in use, the drones may fire up to 200 shots without recharging from the host Mindy's CFS. However, outside of the field, the drones expend 10 standard shots worth for each second of operation - a single second within the CFS restores 100 shots in a single second to offset this. The NSDs are typically carried in recharging slots on the Mindy's outer thighs.
