Today the Yome Ismâopate gunship, one of the most storied vessels of the Clan Defense Fleet, has returned from its latest mission bearing valuable information from beyond the borders of our territory. With its six-month journey concluded, the ship will now undergo its first total refit after eight years of service. Just prior to its departure a preparatory refit was conducted which will make this total refit even easier to complete. Engineers who wish to petition for the right to participate in this refit may contact Kasâvyjo'sa Alti Yoroa of the Void Berth. Crewmembers of the Yome are now able to volunteer for new assignments; listeners who are managing House and Sect projects are encouraged to recruit these capable individuals.
The achievements of the crew of the Yome Ismâopate must now be recognized, for they honored House Sinloa and the Clan.
From the beginning of its mission in YE 35, the Yome Ismâopate explored the space near the Otâgo'iâmai, and detected and destroyed numerous incursions into our space during its patrols.
It was the Yome which rooted out and eradicated the wretched Defilers hidden on Âmuar, and it was its crew who rescued the beings who would become the Niko Yârme, who have become a vital part of our Clan.
The ship and crew discovered and subdued the secret colony in the Âyemovi System. Thanks to the crew’s heroism, the colony was beaten into submission and brought back into the Clan’s fold.
The Yome Ismâopate was the first warship of the Clan to dock with a starbase of the Clan of Warrior Women. The Libra Star Fortress at Diachi played host to the beginning of a mission involving the Yome, the YSS Aeon, and the YSS Gensho; the ships cooperated to gather vital information about the Kuvexian threat.
The work of the Yome Ismâopate is not finished; this rest is only temporary. As its battle-scarred hull is made strong once more, remember the accomplishments of this ship and its people. Think of its heroic Captain, and of the good he did for the Clan.
