SANDRA Last Freespacer Groups Removed From Yamatai's Enemy List

Kyoto, Yamatai -- The Star Army of Yamatai announced today that the last of the Freespacer groups on its list of enemies have now been removed. This included the Opportunists Social Club, Wired Rovers, and The Guild of Cyberempathy. The move was made because there had been no attacks from these groups in at least three years and because the Star Army of Yamatai wants to further normalize relations with the Freespacers who are found through this area of space.

"Peaceful Freespacers that mean no harm to Yamatai have nothing to fear," said spokesperson Kanagawa Ayuko, a Taisa with Star Army Command. "With this change in our policy, it will help the Star Army because we will no longer be tasked with having to treat Freespacers as suspects while we investigated their associations. Now all Freespacers can be properly treated as civilians on a consistent basis. We hope that they will appreciate this gesture as we continue work to heal the damage from the unfortunate bloodshed 9 years ago."

The Independent Worlds League was also removed at this time because that group has collapsed and is no longer a threat, although Prince Hassan, its leader, is still desired for questioning.
