1. The Working Uniform, Type 31, and its components will no longer be authorized for wear beginning in YE 44. Soldiers should turn in working uniforms to their Unit Supply Specialist, who can exchange them for equivalent items from the Duty Uniform, Type 42, or Field Uniform, Type 37 (Rikugun).

2. The Duty Uniform, Type 42 is now the primary everyday uniform of the Star Army of Yamatai while the Type 35 will be used as the equivalent of a "suit" when a dressy look is desired. Rikugun units may use the Field Uniform instead as directed by their commanders.

3. Working uniform parts may be sold at the Star Army Surplus Store.

1. Due to requests and needs, I have authorized the production and wear of a maternity version of the Duty Uniform, Type 42, effective immediately. The designation is the Duty Uniform, Maternity, Type 43.

1. The Star Army of Yamatai hereby authorizes Star Army of Yamatai personnel to wear, when outdoors, and at the consent and directions of unit commanders, cold weather headgear with duty uniforms and field uniforms in combination with cold weather coats and jackets. The cold weather headgear shall consist of a plain knitted or woven cap in one of the following colors:

• Star Army Regal Blue
• Black
• Nataria Green (Rikugun only)
• Camouflage color tones as appropriate for the operating environment, such as olive drab or white (Field uniform only)
