Looking for a gun

I'm combing through the wiki trying to find a gun that fits this little niche and I'm wondering if anyone knows if there's a gun on the wiki that'll fit.

Essentially what I'm looking for is like a 'reasonable version' of a monster hunter bowgun. So a long arm with a semiautomatic fire rate preferably. But the shells are at least 12ga. size, preferably 20mm or bigger and with reasonable range and a personnel class weapon, not power armor. (Yes I know the recoil would be intense.) It could also be a grenade rounds too, but I'd prefer 'bullets'
 
I almost suggested the 38 Special if not for Syaoran's "long arm" requirement.

But then I thought "wow what if there were a grip that made the pistolgrip a stock and let unarmored (un-powerarmored) people fire the anti-PA round safely?"

Right now the Midir is closest to what I'm looking for, though if anyone has any other ones I'd still love ot see them
 
What character is this for? Characters usually don't have access to all weapons (e.g. military ones, ones from factions that haven't been encountered yet).
 
It's looking like I probably won't find what I'm looking for, so my new question is @Wes what are the rules for making custom fire arms that aren't mass produced?
 
I don't think you need to do anything special outside the normal submission rules.

Also this might be a good chance to request something from a designer IC/OOC.

Kinda. It's better stated that I've dabbled and have worked somewhat on gun additions to SARP. If it's wanted, I could also finish the artwork for a specific plasma rifle if you don't mind that form of weapon. There was also artwork I made for a scavenged together-type gun that could probably be wiki'd out under @Ametheliana's BIGGUNs. Admittedly, it's not very fitting to a future setting but I could likely find a way to retool it.

I don't mind, especially since it's one of the 309th dooders, trying to bring about a gun that might fit yer shotty long-arm.
 
Well I'd like to revive this for a second call real quick about handguns. I'm much less specific now and really just want 'high powered hand guns'. I know about the HHG and what was listed here. I want to knwo if there are any less common ones I missed. I prefer they use physical amunition, but energy ammunition is okay too.
 
If you're still looking for that bowgun then Galactic Horizon have some pretty fancy 12 gauge shells and do custom work, if you want to just go for this high-powered handgun idea then we can do that too - just shoot us a SYNC message and then me a list on Discord or here of what you want the weapon to do. I need to get more practice making guns anyway and this sounds like the perfect opportunity!

Plus I mean, more custom stuff is always cool!
