A mad little theory. I want feedback: positive or negative!

Hey all,

I just want to go over a theoretical concept and I want to know if it sounds canon. I'm debating over whether I should use it or not in a peice of writing (to test how it'd be in an RP enviroment).

Well, here goes. Forgive me if I sound like a raving madman.

If Object X exists upon Dimensia 1, 5, 6 & 7 (Assuming 1, 2, 3 & 4 are time, X, Y and Z respectively) then theoretically, would it produce a "shadow" into known space-time?

Now, let's step the concept up a notch.

Assuming the other dimensia mimic properties comparable with X Y and Z, would said "shadow" be projected in three dimensions (as perhaps we believe we see Ghosts in works of fiction)?

And further more...

Imagine known space-time is a pool of water with no end and no beginning because it is always moving.
Entertain me here and picture ZPE is iron filings within the water that are so very fine, they will pass through your hand within the water and thicker materials.
Now, assume an Aether based device is a magnet. This magnet can be polarized and can also polarize the filings themselves and make them condense and act similarly to matter (as with aether cannons).

Let's turn it up to 11: Imagine Object X is an outside object from the pool.

Per say, a hand waving around a very powerful electro magnet. Powerful enough to draw the filings away from the other magnets.

Because when you look at the surface of the water, it mirrors what you see, you can only see Object X because of it's "shadow" of the gathered filings.

Now, I would imagine if the object were to exist within the SA universe, it would render Aether devices useless by plucking the energy right from them. Unfortunately, it would also be subject to the properties of it's shadow: Shifting the resonance of the energy in place would collapse the shadow and affect whatever is upon the other side.

Again, I know this sounds mad, drunk or plain weird but I'd like to exchange Object X for something which is a tangable concept.

Those of you who read Hanako's dream have an opening onto just what this concept is and how I wish to use it as a vehicle.

Please, I'd like some feedback. Anything will do.

EDIT: I just went through my notepad, where I write junk like this and of the number of possibilities, it was one of those "Write it within the first 5 minutes of waking up" type things.
Do any of you do anything like keeping a notepad next to your bed or in your pocket for your odd ideas?

Well, it's not entirely neccecary to go that route, is it?

What he's saying is that there is an alternate, yet functionally identical set of dimensions each sharing the same temporal dimensions. So think of it as an alternate universe...except not, because it's just a part of the same universe that we normally cannot interact with.

At least, that's what I get out of this.

I would call it reasonably similar but by no means ironic.

The idea is to use this for a new race on paper or a technology from a "strange beyond" that has a way of appearing in this universe, following our rules of time (hence vectors/locations and response to objects in our universe).

Man, I'm tired.. The point is, it's the most alien concept I could concieve and if all goes well, they'll end up the Mortal enemies of the Sourcian with some manner of twisted back story.

I used to have a notepad that I wrote in when I first woke up and from that, made my first book. It was off of a nightmare I wrote down years and years ago. Since writing that book, I haven't kept one around to write in, at all.

Maybe a better idea than a notepad would be a voice recorder, or text to speech (most phones can do this - I know the Android keyboard can).
