Life Events Hiatus from SARP

Ok, firstly, I apologize to everyone (especially GM's) for my long absence from the site for a good couple months, but I was finally called for my training program and now am gainfully employed full time in construction/HVAC! :) While this is excellent news for my family's situation, it is unfortunately doomsday for my ability to have free time to write. Between juggling job, family, and trying to sleep enough to do it all over again the next day...

In that vein, I will be seeking a graceful exit/sunset/etc of my characters from all current plots and projects for the near future, and will see if I can craft an ending post for Orochi Squadron as well so noone is left hanging there and can move on to other things if they wish. I could come back to the SARP scene if things calm down, but for now I'll just be satisfied lurking in the chat from time to time and encouraging you all. :)
 
We are glad you are back and ok! Gratz on the job too! Construction is a very hard line of work, but the pay is usually wonderful so that's great for your family situation.

I admit I'm bummed out to lose a Yamataian plot and GM, but it's good to be realistic about your time rather than over-commit and then let players down because your life has got too busy. So thanks for being considerate and doing a sunset thing rather than vanishing without notice.

You're always welcome here. Good luck with the new training/job. Sounds like a great choice because there will always be demand for HVAC services!
 
Good Luck with the new opportunities. As you said its good for your primary responsibility your family. We'll miss you, and who knows in time you may find your way back. Either way, I wish nothing but good fortune for you and yours.

I just now found this. I'm glad everything is okay and you're not going on a hiatus because of anything bad. Good luck with your new job! You are an awesome GM and a very nice person. Hope to see you in chat sometime.
 
I heard of this a bit late. I'm so happy to hear you've found some good work, though I'll definitely miss you a lot! You've always been a really encouraging, wonderful person to talk to. ^w^
