I know there are a couple of examples somewhere abouts on the wiki that people have made before, but has anyone else ever dreamed up a little bit of fun and wanted to share it?

My most recent questionable, fantastical piece of work in this vein has a skeleton that looks like this:

Title: MY MISHHU TWIN, THE SYMBIOTIC SERIES

Synopsis: During the last war a young Yamatai soldier was lost in a heroic sacrifice for his squad and presumed KIA – but unbeknownst to the world at large this brave soul was captured alive and suffer the horrible fate of those infested by a Mishhu Parasite.

The soldier was revived with the use of the noble ST system and retook his place in the army that brought glorious victory to our Republic. His infested doppelganger on the other hand was left behind by its beastly race after their humiliating defeat and has been aimlessly wandering the universe.

Tired of its meaningless existence the Mishhu Parasite, using memories brutally culled from the honourable body it inhabits, arrives at the sleepy small town home of its better half in a quest for oblivion – but finds acceptance instead?

THE CAST (ALL NAMES SUBJECT TO CHANGE):

YAMATAI JOE: Former Yamatai soldier. Some would say that basic training doesn't prepare a soul for the harsh realities of battle; Joe would beg to differ as it was the only thing that saw him through the entirety of the war. A highly decorated warrior whose heroic actions are only matched by his list of engagements which ended in him listed as KIA – a perfect one-to-one ratio. Joe never survived a single mission he was ever deployed on and has lost count on exactly what number ST he is currently on. Lacking in self-esteem, quiet, and with an easy smile Joe is a confusing mask layered over the tiger-like killer instincts and immense well of heroism that all his former squadmates swear comes out as soon as danger rears its ugly head. Likes to tell war stories that no one wants to hear due to the fact that as far as Joe is concerned the war was a long series of sometimes disconnected periods of downtime on starships punctuated by orders to have his ST-backup updated far more frequently than his fellows. Always wanted to have a brother.

MISHHU YAMATAI JOE: Possesses the only first-person account of Joe acting in a war-zone. Spent years fearing the man whose body he inhabited as a vicious and near on thirty-foot tall God of War. Upon meeting the Joe of today in hopes of having his dull life cut short the Mishhu Joe had his whole world view shocked by what was waiting for him. Confused and pushed to the edges of doubt at the very core of his being Mishhu Joe is looking for a proper place in the world.

MOTHER AND FATHER: The parents to Yamatai Joe and by their logic also then of Mishhu Joe. A rather rustic Geshrin couple with very traditional views the pair are even more accepting of their new child than Joe is. Very dissatisfied with the fact that Joe, a bonafide war hero that is now in his middling thirties, has not started a family yet. Secretly hopeful that Mishhu Joe – as near on an expert as you can get in the field of getting strangers pregnant – will provide them with Grandchildren in the near future.

JOE'S FORMER COMMANDING OFFICER: The Neko that led Yamatai Joe's squad during the war. Knows exactly what number ST Joe is on. Lives in Joe's town as a precaution in case he ever triggers into his deployed state and goes on a rampage. Unaware of Mishhu Joe's actual origins. Tells war stories about Joe and the squad that the whole town adores but everyone generally agrees have to be false. Loves to joke, is a joke at love. Always has dreamed of going on a vacation to Neplesia and at some point in the series gets her hands on a third almost identical, female copy of Yamatai Joe to inhabit temporarily to make that dream a reality. Plans on bringing both Mishhu and Yamatai Joe with her on her vacation, probably starts a gang war.

THE GIRL BACK HOME: Joe's childhood friend. Teaches at the local Elementary School. Smart, kind, and with a whit you could sharpen a monomolecular blade with The Girl Back Home isn't considered a 'proper lady' by Yamatai Joe's parents. An expert in the Art of the Sword The Girl Back Home has been the Regional Champion for the last four years. Unafraid to speak her mind she always manages her speech in a manner of supreme tact and grace.

Ooh I have a few ideas in my head for In-universe entertainment. A comedy harem anime centered on a famous Neko captain and the girls vying for her love. A series about a rich Nepleslian who falls in love with his Mishuuvurthyar parasite. My character could write about his life growing up in a gang in Funky City.

Considering I've made 3/5 of those articles and am the one who made the template for media in general. . .

If you have an idea, make it.
