FYI, some of the updates are made on the subarticles, while others are updated on the submitted article and the subarticle. In case it gets confusing.
 
Blargh. I was hoping not to deal with the VANDR. As mecha, they tend to lean on the "overarmed and everything it fires is potent" (at least the last time I looked, compromise did not appear easy).

We're dealing with a Tier 8 mecha. Barriers (Shield should be called 'Barrier' to distinguish from physical shields) are the same. So, that's eight Tier 8 weapons "worth" of gear.

The VT sword is worth 1.
The VT shield confuses me a bit. I don't really count shields, however mobile, as weapons so that won't count. But it does count as a container for the VT Fangs. I'd count that as a Heavy Anti-Armor missile launcher, so, Tier 6 - therefore worth 1/4.
The 2 Shockstring RPCA cannons each count as a Tier 8 weapon. That's worth 2.
The VT drivers (bladed hands and legs) is something I'm not sure how to count. I'm intentionally skipping them, as I consider them normal features of the VANDR's body and think you need the room for other stuff anyways. x_x
The 4 Stormray LEMB laser arrays are Tier 7, so are worth 2 total.
And then there are the three PASD missile pods, which you tell me are Tier 9, therefore in total worth 6. That doesn't fit, you're in excess of 4 Tier 8 weapons (you're at 150% of what units that size should carry).

Bear in mind that the PASD missiles are said to be Tier 6 in the article. 3 of those would fit.

Hey @Fred, I fixed up the numbers on the article, but what I really want you to look at is this.

That is my wiki-fied need to understand DR V3. Do I have a grasp on what you're getting at?
 
Pretty much, yes. :)

I don't consider the .25 excess a big deal. Like I said earlier, these things are so armed I knew this would be difficult.

If I had counted the limbs, I might have qualified them as 4x Tier 7 weapons (potentially lethal against an unarmored Erla VANDR) to help the VT Sword stand out.
