A neutral organization created by the government in AF 114 to centralize all research efforts into military hardware, Kaiserlich F&E is the link between the three major manufacturing corporations of the Abwehran Star Empire. With the best and brightest scientists and engineers, these intellectuals are responsible for approving all equipment and technology bound for military use.
As a secondary purpose, Kaiserlich F&E is responsible for all programs designed to upgrade the current technological structure of the Empire. So far, several programs are being maintained.
