I added in a power source, but what was the range issue? I either did not get a chance to read that bit, or I just plain forgot due to being in a rush.
 
Oh. I probably left it out of that last message I sent after you logged off. Sorry 'bout that.

A range of 15 AU, when its top speed is only 9,600 km/h (Mach 7.83) seems a little silly. The pilot certainly couldn't last that long. Hell, it can't exit the atmosphere of a planet with that speed.

(Calculations show it would take well more than 15,000 hours for it to travel just 1 AU. That's ~865.729 Yamataian days.)

This thing also isn't meant to travel long ranges anyway. Maybe 0.1 AU instead? Or maybe add a note: power source can last for 15 AU, but only enough life support for pilot to travel 0.1 AU.
