I am not a woman of many words, but I will speak as best I can.
For countless generations, the Lorath people have been ruled by an inbred monarchy and its corrupt clan, which has sought its own interests over the common peoples'. As a result, we have known too much tension, war and genocide, with the latest atrocity being a ploy to abscond with all our worlds. As the Commander in Chief of the Fyuunen Clan, I have acted to bring this to a stop by seizing full cooperation and control of all LSDF forces, as well as the volunteer forces from which this revolution began, and destroyed this system, rendering our worlds safe from it. To mark this new beginning, the ruling Tur'lista members were forced into exile as an act of mercy.
However, this new era has not gone unmarred. An insurgency of religious hardliners and loyalists to the old regime is ongoing, and out of its zealous fervor, has caused great harm, destroying our sources of food in the process. As a result of the sudden shortage and spreading famine, an overzealous officer has lead an attack on a Gartagen colony for resources without my blessing.
Given this time of hardship and turmoil, I ask for forgiveness, and to be left alone.
