Hanako's World - Boardwalk
Afternoon
Love Day. As the official sponsor of the bill that created the holiday, Hanako felt obliged to participate, and had signed herself up for a random date. She wasn't especially looking for a new romantic partner, although it was true she had been single since Sune had left and the departure of Blueberry for her own command had made her even lonlier. So here she was, standing on the beach in a sundress with a big straw hat, waiting for her partner.
Sayoko was, to be honest, quite confused about this entire affair. After entering herself into a random date at the extreme insistence of her roommate (a Santô Hei by the name of Blesi Ingrid) the eldest of the Inukais had proceeded to conduct some background research into the activity called "dating" - only to be even further confused by the sheer volume of the often-contradicting information that was available on the topic. Feeling somewhat overwhelmed, she'd ultimately opted to wear her Class B 'Everyday' Uniform; as the silver-haired Neko walked along the boardwalk, however, she began to question this course of action - as the sweltering heat was beginning to affect her senses.
There, after all, was no other possible reason that would account for her seeing the legendary Ketsurui Hanako standing a few meters away.
Hanako approached her date and looked her over. "Hello, I am Hanako," she smiled. She tilted her head. "You wore a duty uniform to the beach?" she asked, looking a little confused. Hanako was small in stature and had soft, full hair down to her shoulders in mostly a bright aqua color the turned violet at its tips. She had big golden eyes.
For only the third time in the two years she'd existed, Sayoko was completely stunned as the mirage in front of her talked. Wait...this means that-! The Santô Hei's viridescent eyes widened as she reflexively snapped up her arm in a salute. "Gomen'nasai Hanako-Shôshô!" - a pause, then - "I...didn't have anything else to own, ma'am!" Empress, I hope she doesn't think poorly of me...and strange. I thought she'd be taller...
"What about a bathing suit?" Hanako asked. "Did you bring one? If not, we could go to one of the shops long the boardwalk."
