Mishhu Phasing - Biological or Tech?

Is the phasing ability of the Ghost Mishhuvurthyar psionic in nature like many of their abilities seem to be, or is some biological part of them (although for the life of me I can't think of a biological organ that could manage it).

If it is Psionic does that mean that someone, or something else could duplicate it.

Also, has a Mishhuvurthyar ever been captured? And if a Ghost Mishhuvurthyar could be captured (I'm thinking bait and a very large array of tranc darts, bio-disrupters and anything else to disrupt it's brain), is it possible that the phasing effect could be duplicated? A Mishu that could do that would be a very nasty thing to tangle with.

Actually, it's technologically-induced, as far as SA knows. ^_^

And yes, theoretically, it could be duplicated with the proper research.

Research AHA, like the type I was talking about in another posting. SO theoreticly NovaCorp could bundle huge amounts of money into developing this sort of phasing technology? Or, let me guess, we would need a ghost Mishhuvurthyar which would require more force than NovaCorp can bring to bear (yet). If NovaCorp can develop this technology just reply and possibly give an estimate of cost. If on the other hand you want to crush my hopes ... 😉

The phasing efect of the Ghost Mishu is a form of mucking around with the nature of space, possibly slight phasing of self into other dimension or something like that yes? If this is so, shouldn't a space-time anchor negate the effect?

Didn't know this form of Mishu existed. Neat to see that at one point (at least prominently-ish) they fielded this sort of phasing/"ghost" type of unit. Fits the sneaky tentacle monster vibe. Also lets me know I need to read up on the Mishu some more.

Phasing Mishhu are currently featured in the YSS Junpu plot, if you want to read where a GM is currently going with the idea.
