New Character Starting Locations.

Hey, where do new characters start off at anyway? :?:

Is it based on employment, class, species?

34 year old Geshrin (one of the originals) more than likely a ex-infantry guy but looking for something slightly more peaceful

Somewhere on Yamatai or Nepleslia. If civilian, in a non-military state.

Military, kind of looking for an assignment on a ship or planet duty works too.

The 3rd Expeditionary Fleet could always use more security sentries. Ex-infantry types seem to do well there.

So while things have drastically changed since this (based on how most people start in plots), maybe it'd be a good idea to answer this subject in the new age. I know someone recently put up/necro'd a thread in relation to a sort of solo-person RPing, so it seems that there's people who'd like to see a more list-like potential for what/where they can throw their characters. New doods gotta have all this sort of stuff more readily find-able =3=

Really, a character can start wherever it makes sense for them to be.

If I had to choose a starting location for Yamataian characters, I'd probably choose Kyoto, since it's the most detailed city in Yamatai.

Other good starting places in Yamatai would be:

• White Harbor Station
• Shinjuku Market District on Hanako's World
• Starport terminal in Central Uesureya
