Yuumi-san, I see that the Imperial Premier seat is opening up and I was thinking that I wanted to contribute more to the Empire. So much has changed since we both were returned to the Empire, your rescue and my recovery. I honestly feel that you above all others, understand my sense of displacement in this new world. I am going to submit my bid as Premier but should I do it as Koharu or reclaim my identity as Chiharu? I would appreciate any advice you might have for me and this new path. I will have to resign from the Star Army once more but I have informed Yui of my aspiration for office and was reminded that I would need to commit to it. I think I'm ready. I want to stop hiding.

Dearest Koharu-chan,

I have thought of resigning for a couple of years now. Asuka has wanted me around more, and the imperial government is in the hands of so many capable, competent people. I am needed little, and my blood grows no younger.

The imperial government could use someone with your character. You would bring a freshness to the bureaucracy that it desperately needs, despite its efficiency.

All governments need refreshment from time to time.

For your identity ... your case is so unique, but I can speak for myself.

Coming to the Premiership, I decided I could not be all who I was before. The position needed an even hand and a delicate touch, as its powers are limited, but no less great and in many ways directly affect citizens the most.

Can you be Chiharu and Premier at once? Or Koharu and Premier?

Perhaps both or neither. Not too helpful, but you must embrace that message.

If you're sure, and you want to be Premier anyway, I will lend you every unofficial support I can, and will stand ready to assist you, should you win.
