Nope, because even the NSS Alliance - one of the original Nepleslian plotships, if I’m not mistaken - had plenty of female Nepleslians on it. Not a majority, of course, but they weren’t rare, either.

Edit: Also, raz, Char’s post explicitly mentions that she’s Jiyuuian, not Nepleslian.
