17th Red Squadron Mission
Fallen Utopia
Twenty-six hours ago we received a communication from within the Talori system. The signal has been identified as a Star Army distress signal and is originating from a Katsuko Class Colony installation, Utopia, that was abandoned when we were forced to give up our holdings within the Bard Cluster.
The confirmed message was from Dr. Borei Mai, a civilian scientist claiming to be trapped with a group of survivors within the now Mishhu controlled domes. They claim they have been surviving by moving throughout the city and choosing their battles wisely.
They SMX have converted the installation into a breeding colony; there is an estimated twenty thousand enslaved citizens of the Empire, the former compliment of the intended Utopia colony onboard. Beware there are likely to be high number of them enslaved and forced to assist the SMX against their will.
The Mishhu have apparently been conducting biotechnology research in some areas of the city and have a strong presence.
Due to the fact the Bard Cluster is one of Melisson’s holdings this mission is considered to be high risk. Utopia is adrift in the central system, never having reached its planetary destination.
Your mission is to rescue Dr Borei Mai and any other survivors of opportunity, destroy the installation and return home. The Daisy is the ideal equipment for this mission. You will be delivered to the Talori system aboard YSS Zenchi (NC-X5-25), a Yuuko Class Gunboat.
