Currently we are behind on posting JPs but have been meeting every week.

S3: MISSION OPERATIONS

Current IC Mission: Survive and seek rescue or escape

Current IC Events:

Since the plot began, the following major events occurred:

* YSS Freedom's survivors bailed out of the ship's cargo bay by parachute in 3 vehicles and a cargo container. It was night and raining heavily.
* Upon escaping the low lying swamps, the survivors attempted to erect a camp. One survivor was eaten by a large carnivorous plant but was recovered.
* An artillery strike destroyed the camp and vehicles. Almost all of the survivors were injured. The attack was followed by sniper fire.
* As morning (and fog) came in, the rain let up. A group of native humans took the survivors to a camouflaged village where their injuries were treated. The natives had found the Freedom's ration crate and using it provided food to the survivors.

S4: LOGISTICS

We've lost almost all of our supplies and are in a native village. The natives have our weapons at present.

NOTES
No way of communicating with Star Army forces at present.

IC News: Possible Mishhu occupation on HX-13, Marcus to marry tribal princess

Intelligence info from the tribal chieftain:

"The bad people hunt in the woods wearing a second skin the color of mud. They carry metal sticks that can throw stones faster than a dartfly moves. They are evil and worship the evil spirits."

"We do not know if you are with the bad people. You carry the weapons like them and dress something like the bad people but in different colors. After the thunder and fire, we know the bad people would come. This is why we take you before they can find." Mifundi didn't explain the spirits just yet.

"The bad people came two seasons ago," Mifundi said. "They wear the color of mud," he then repeated. "Light brown like the mud from a river, not the dark swamp. A red and yellow mark on their arm."

"They ride large evil beasts made of metal,"

"The Pohutsa tribe is a small remnant of a great nation, from the Great City Senogilan. Then the evil spirits and the bad people came, we leave the city and build this small village. I hope you are not offended by its small size, but we try to stay out of the sight of the evil ones."

"Senogilan...a short walk north to the highway, then a longer walk to the city. It is not too far. We cook foods closer to the city so smoke does not rise from our village. We must be cautious, for the evil can take control of a person...many in the city are under the evil spell. It makes them into bad people. Sometimes, the evil vines grow from their bodies."

The survivors agreed to join the tribe, with Marcus marrying the daughter of the chief to secure the deal. The survivor learned of the Mishhuvurthyar presence on the planet.

S2: INTELLIGENCE

Eyewitness reports indicate a Neko SAINT agent has been operating in the area, providing training and weapons to the local villagers. Radio signals show significant NMX activity to the North both in the big city and on the highway.
