1. Situation
Enemy Forces: Mishhuvurthyar forces have been encountered in the Kosuke Sector. The 5XF has requested Rikugun forces to help secure the recently secured Becurn System. The inhabitants have recently been at war with each other, with the use of nuclear weapons, under the influence of the Illonites currently hostile towards Yamataian forces in the sector.
Friendly Forces: The 5XF currently operates within the Kosuke sector. A number of corporate security such as the Ryu Keiretsu's Black Crane Securities, Mining Guild and Yugumo Corporation are currently present within the 5XF's AO. Additionally, non-state actors such as the Iron Company are actively helping the 5XF.
Mission of Higher Command: Star Army Command mandates the eradication of Mishhuvurthyar forces where ever we might find them. The primary objectives are to secure terrestial territory, establish forward operating bases, and to protect civilian populations.
2. Mission
The 46th and 48th Legion Command Groups are to deploy immediately to the Becurn System, Kosuke System. You are to maintain the peace between the two species inhabiting the system, capture/liberate Mishhuvurthyar and Illonite occupied systems, and to destroy Mishhuvurthyar ground forces. Primary mission parameters include planetary defense fortification, render of humanitarian aid, peacekeeping operations, and offensive operations. Secondary mission parameters are the surveying of systems and the establishment of permanent Rikugun bases and logistics hubs to sustain a permanent ground presence in the sector.
3. Execution
Commander's Intent: Swiftly disrupt enemy operations and eliminate the Mishhuvurthyar presence in the system and neutralize Illonite operations, paving the way for long-term stabilization.
4. Sustainment
Logistics: Resupply and sustainment will be coordinated with 5XF until such time the logistics elements of the 1st Expeditionary Area Army will be able to. Each regiment is to carry 7 days of provisions and ammunition. Supply drops will be scheduled based on operational tempo and needs of the unit.
Transport: The naval component of the 46th and 48th LCGs are not complete. As such freighters of Star Army Logistics will provide the initial lift from the Kikyo Sector to Kosuke. The naval components of each LCG shall be filled in as hulls are completed.
Command and Signal
Command: Shosho Ikeda Masaki will command ground operations with the support of brigade-level command staff. Liaison with the 5SF and 5XF will be maintained for support.
Primary Communications: Encrypted Subspace and Hyperspace PANTHEON.
Backup Communications: Secure mesh network on the ground via portable hyperspace relay beacons.
Acknowledgment and readiness confirmation are required from all LCG commanders by 0300 local time. Prepare to initiate lift to Kosuke by 0400, YE 46.8.20.
