SACN 5SF Starship Acquisition Request - YE 46.8

According to our Fifth Fleet Force Structure of YE 45, 5SF requests the following hulls to complete Phase One of our reorganization efforts:

• (2) Takumi-Class (2A) Expeditionary Command Cruiser
• (2) Henry Chen-class Training Ship
• (4) Tanya-Class (1B) Expeditionary Heavy Cruiser
• (24) Chiaki-class (1B) Escort Destroyer
• (2) Nougaku-Class Agriculture Vessel
• (2) Rikei-Class Science Vessel
• (4) Nibasha-Class Heavy Freighter

In addition, the Rikugun Test and Evaluation has concluded their testing of the Nuwa Class Multipurpose Frigate YSS Tengu and we find the whole Ryu Heavy Industry design to be lacking for our requirements. Instead, with Star Army Engineering and Rikugun input, a 2B refit for the Kagai Class Assault Ship has been developed that will suit ours and the Rikugun's needs for their Legion Command Groups. We require 80 such vessels new or refitted and the YSS Tengu decommissioned and stricken for use in a live-fire certification exercise as a final assessment on the class.
