ON: Port Ichiban, Taiie IV
The lake's cool, clean waters did much to soothe Miharu's nerves. She had been cooped up in her shuttle for so long running hourly flights for weeks on end. This breath of freedom was exhilarating. She continued to dive underwater and swim amongst the others, grateful for their company. Further down the beach, the Nepleslian's fishing line suddenly took a hard tug and began reeling out quickly. In an instant it was yanked from its position at its owner's feet and dragged into the water. But the man paid it no mind; he was still fast asleep.
Camellia stayed where she was, being content to sit in the shallower waters near the surf and away from the cavorting Nekos whom would bring about her messy doom, due to her inability to swim (she never bothered to learn, since she works on a spaceship.) She did watch though.
Jaq swam around in circles for a bit, then saw Camellia sitting by herself in the surf. He took a moment to think about it and then he started to swim towards Camellia. He went up and sat a few feet away from Camellia and got into a relaxed position. "So... Don't know how to swim? Or do you just not feel like swimming right now Cam?" Jaq looked back out to the group in the water then back to Camellia.
Hikomaru kept swimming all around, as if he was letting the child inside him out for the moment. The lake breeze washed his mind with more comforting thoughts and memories. He said to Miharu, "So, how long was the last time you visited a water body and have a nice swim like today." While swimming backwards, leaving only his head out of the water.
"I don't know. I haven't been to a real lake before. I've only heard about them.â€
