Kyosou, Yamatai
Today Tamahagane Hikaru the leader of the Tamahagane Clan with his wife along side of him; made the following announcement from the steps of their home.
“My fellow Yamataians, we stand here on the day after the unthinkable has happened to our home world. We have been wounded, our cities damaged, our loved ones injured or worse. The effects of this tragic event will remain with us for some time. But we must begin to move forward, to rebuild Yamatai.
The destruction of the Hoshi no Iori and its rain of debris has destroyed the current planetary communications network that we depend on upon.
Because of this, the Tamahagane Corporation will deploy twenty four of our "Hirakeru" Communication Satellites above the planet later today. These satellites will provide a much needed network to allow our civilian agencies, and the population at large to interact with each other. With global communications restored it will help emergency services to respond to situations around the planet better. It will also allow other facets of life to resume.
The corporation will maintain this network for one year, at the end of that period we will turn it over to the government.”
