I have briefly consulted with the Empress and she has authorized me to request the SSS's coorperation with establishing territorial claims in the colonial expansion zone as well as placement of scientific observational facilities also equipped to serve as emergency outposts for civilian pioneers.
It is with the above in mind that I have two requests.
1. That the SSS, with Star Army assistance available, design a "lighthouse" station that would contain a scientific study apparatuses, a navigational aid system, accommodations for a small number of personnel, and a small facility for rescue shuttles operated by the Star Army Emergency Services. The stations could be planetside or orbital stations.
2. Visit the following star systems and place the aforementioned installations.
More systems may be added at a later time. In particular, we are interested in the HX-series systems but the NMX threat must be dealt with first.
3. Star Army of Yamatai escorts are available for these missions. The First Expeditionary Fleet Squadrons can be assigned as well as ships from other fleets upon request.

- All the uninhabited UX series star systems.
- The uncharted systems between SX-07 and UX-12 Scrapyard.
- The five systems located south of UX-10 and east of UX-21.
