Reading through ship designs, I've noticed that starship speeds have been nerfed quite significantly. As this appears to have happened while none of the major players for Elysia (myself, Thomas, and Seki) were active, Elysian ships were not edited to reflect this.

If someone can point me in the direction of new speed guidelines, I'll work on that at my nearest opportunity.

Okay. Fixed Crataeis, Concordia, and Thantros. The Lanethron already fits the established guidelines. Others (Evangelist, Thunderbolt, etc...) I would rather not touch as they all predate my even existing on SA. Not only do they no longer have an IC bearing, I'm not sure where they should fall comparatively.

You might wanna do it anyway... Never know when a GM might need a ship and randomly pick a old Eylisan one or something... Though they probably won't pay to much mind to speeds to begin with, but still.

As mentioned, not sure where they should fall comparatively.

I'll edit them if I can get some guidelines from Wes on that one.

I'd ask Fred. He has some sort of conversion formula, I think, from when we'd just implemented the Speed Standard. The Nepleslian GMs might, too.

I'm not sure I remember how I originally went by it. Here's my educated guess:

STL speeds are roughly a third of what they once were. (giving sTL torpedoes a chance to catch up and giving better odds for beam weapons to be of use in a fight).

Intra-system speeds (CFS derived) are roughly twenty times less than before.

Fold speeds are equal to the former max CFS speed of the ship in question.

Worked out nicely! Edited everything that needed editing. That none of the old ships have Fold drives (by default anyway) made it a little easier.

Thanks for taking care of it, Orion! I appreciate you helping out like that.
