Psychological Characteristics
Personality: Gruff, serious, but also aloof light hearted, and well humored. When He took the tests they came up with odd results, seems he has a condition that allows him to be very combative but still think straight no matter how pressed for time he gets. The only problem he has been having is a recurring nightmare that snaps him into a somewhat of the hell that he lived.
Likes: Melee, honorable combat, a good meal, having fun, role-playing games of any sort, exploring and finding new things
Dislikes: Corruption, unintelligent officers, Bad information.
Goals: Explore, get out there, and enjoy life.
History
Akira, middle child, twin of one of the most unstable member of the family. He has lived for a while after an industrial accident his original body started to decay, no matter what was used to stop it. The only recourse the family had was to Transfer his mind and soul to a Yamatai body.
The result after was his witnessing his own body breaking down into a pile of dust at a rapid rate (course of 3 days.) this lead to him enlisting into the Star Army in hopes to try to drown out that memory. Trained in several jobs in the military. Akira settled on to being a Power Armor pilot and mechanic. Having finished Training he has been cleared by medical and allowed to be transferred.
Skills:
Communication: Your character is familiar with basic radio operation and procedures and can make transmissions to and receive transmissions from other characters through headsets, starships, power armor, and shuttles in both combat and non-combat conditions. Your character is fluent in English, and Japanese. he can speak and write both correctly and efficiently and can write reports, fill forms, issue orders under fire, etc. He also has additional training in a various number of computer languages. He has been tested for and has received training in telepathy and ESP.
Fighting: Your character received hand-to-hand combat training, followed up with a rigorous training program. He is skilled and experienced in combat both in Yamatai-like conditions and in zero gravity, with and without weapons. Weapons he is trained in include energy pistols, grenades, energy rifles, solid projectile weapons, bladed weapons (energy and solid), and power armor. From his family Akira has also received an advanced form of martial arts that is also taught to the security forces his family uses. Also has received training in offensive ESP use.
Technology Operation: Your character is capable of operating any computer system that uses the Kessaku OS, found on all Star Army starships. He is proficient in entering and/or searching for information along with programming instructions into several machines made for production. Also has training in the operational process of many styles of energy sources (reactors, generators, etc.)
Mathematics: Your character received basic mathematics training, including algebra, and trigonometry.
Physical: Trained in multiple environment and zero gravity movement, Akira knows how to use it to his advantage. Also received acrobatics, gymnastics, and power armor handling which allows him to be very agile, strong, and flexible when need be. He keeps his training up by doing Yoga and martial art Kata to keep in shape, and this does include using a powered down armor to practice.
Maintenance and Repair: Being obsessed with how does it work, Akira learned how to maintain just about everything and anything, this knowledge came in use during an accident with his family Research and development firm. He learned how to work on anything from power armor, to starship, and little odd things most people do not even think about needing maintenance.
Survival and Military: Trained in multiple environment survival, Land navigation, Sea navigation, Air navigation, Hunting, signaling, and camouflage all by his father. Who insisted that people had to know how to survive without the advantage of modern conveniences.
