In the aftermath of the unprovoked attack on the concert hall, the Conclave has declared a state of emergency and tightened security around the core systems, even going as far as to recall fleet surveying nearby systems. Discussions are currently underway and political analysts believe the Commonwealth government will call for a Section 5 Armed Disarmament of the attacking New Veyrin Republic.
The revelation that the aggressive force which decimated a battlegroup of eighteen Vayu was in fact led by the remnant of the rogue nation that had received a Section 4 Intervention during the Third Outer System Conflict and not the older VKRL was a shock to many theorists and high officers in military intelligence. Makuzhar Orin Suran has publicly demanded for accountability among the civilian and military intelligence agencies, but there has been no official statement put forth by representatives of the VIA and CCIS agencies.
Solan Starworks has recently received a bulk commission to construct new vessels, and held a press conference earlier in the day at their Kaeshun offices.

The Solanii CEO did not take any questions after his extended statement of the company's purpose and goals in the current political climate. Although the sincerity of the claim that Solan would not attempt to profit from the current situation was shaky at best, many expect to see the arms manufacturing megacorporation receiving an increasing number of commissions in the future.
