Solid biography, minus one thing:

Her worst quirk is that she always wearing her NSMC Type 33 Cap, which have rubbed her COs the wrong way over time. She only wears her standard issued hats when she absolutely can't get away without it.

Being the military, isn't that almost all of the time? In general, after the first incident of "rubbing the CO the wrong way" a soldier would get corrective orders and after that, any failure to comply would be treated as insubordination and would mean non-judicial punishment (equivalent to Article 15 in the US Army or Captain's Mast in the US Navy) with consequences like rank reduction, pay forfeiture, and taking away her free time with "scrub the toilets/peel the potatoes" type remedial duties. Yamatai works this way and I'm under the impression that Nepleslia does too, at least to some extent (FM clarification would be good).
