The airlock is also made up of 3 massive blast doors to authenticate who was aboard the ships.

What does this mean? The 3 doors do the authenticating? Why is this in past tense?

Since the base was pressurized, the buildings inside are much like any terrestrial city.

Is it not anymore? The mix of tenses is confusing.

The docks are the bays where the ships can dock and be worked on, as well as resupply and change out personnel.

This literally says nothing about them. Can you describe them visually, etc?

Overall the article is OK, it just needs a little more flavor to it and consistent tense.
