Soyokaze, Captains Office, Desk, in Chair

The black eyed Captain sat behind her desk reading from a volumetric display. Before her was the volumetric screen and a plate of food, lunch to be precise, a bowl of fish soup and plate with chicken teriyaki and a ball of rice. Her normal mug of coffee was replaces with a handeless mug of green tea.She had so many interviews to preform she had just had lunch brought to here in her cabin by a steward.

Elina breezed right into the CO Office of the Soyokaze, before the door closed on the departing Steward. Her rainbow striped hair loose and flowing down the front and back to midpoint. Her uniform? It was a bright neon yellow blouse with a low cut neckline that showed plenty of cleavage, yet still decent, tucked into a light adsorbing black skirt that flowed down to her ankles. Which of course her feet were bare and tucked into sandals. "Good Morning!" In the most cheerful tone that would bring warmth to the most chilled room possible. "I am Elina!" In her soft singsong way. "I have been assigned to this ship since being familiar with it."

With that, Elina flopped down into the nearest chair on her side of the desk, after helping herself to a small chunk of chicken teriyaki and plopping it into her mouth and chewed. "mmmmmmm.... you gotta tell me who your cook is!"

Saeko was about to greet the girl, but then the neko dropped into the chair and started eating her food. Damned civilians. Reaching across the table she snatched her lunch from Elina and pulled it back over to her own side of the desk, out of the reach of the civilian. "If you like something you can just ask." The Captain snapped before sighing and looking up at Elina. "So is there anything I can get you before we start?"

"I am fine," after she swallowed what she had snagged. "Justa let ya know. I hold no military rank, yet work for the most powerful Org in the Empire. I am an entertainer of the highest caliber. Just been on a two year forced sabbatical is all. I would have gone my own way, except They decided that I could serve better here on board." Elina was completely relaxed and sure of herself. She took in the appearance of the officer before her.

"That is all with in the the file on you." Saeko was about to continue with an introduction of herself when...

"Oh!" Interrupting, Elina spoke up. "There is one thing. Your name please. Since I gracefully gave you mine."

"Look I don't give a flying monkey fuck that you are a civilian you can act like respect is something with in your vocabulary. I am Chusa Kuroiairisu Saeko, You may either address me as Chusa or Miss Koruiairisu, but you will do so with respect or you will find yourself hitching hiking back to a inhabited planet with nothing but a AMES suit." She growled as she stared across the desk with her Blacked out eyes.

Elina had the nerve to laugh, looking delighted at the fire of Chusa Kuroiairisu. "Since we understand each other. Just send off a report that you kicked me off the ship so the boys in SAINT won't come look for me to terminate me. I hate to see all this hard work go to waste!" She stood up and spun a full 360 degrees which caused her flowing skirt flare out, then sat back down quite pleased with herself.

"I'm sure that they will be heartbroken. And that I will have to file a lengthy report. I'm sure that if it taken further, I will have to hid behind the regulation that as the CO of this ship I have the ability to say who gets to stay aboard and who doesn't." She shook her head as if that settled the debate. "No under what capacity will you be staying aboard. This isn't a cruiser liner, it is a Heavy Cruiser, a ship of war. And as such I am not going to be in the habit of having tourist aboard.

"You won't know I am around! Well except when I get the urge to play music for I gotta keep up my skill." Elina smiled at Saeko. "I am sure the crew would love some good old fashion heavy metal." Then looked thoughtful. "I will need access to a long range communications now and then to send and receive stuff." Still bold as brass. She was openly studying Saeko as she sat there and spoke in her soft manner.

"So you are telling me there isn't anything productive you will be doing on this ship, other then reporting to SAINT and making a ruckus in my mess decks?"

Elina laughed openingly. She liked this woman before her in military uniform. After calming down, "I am well versed in communication protocols. Military, Police, Civilian, Rogue....." Giving a wave of her hand. "I even ran a radio station under the noses of the NMX." Giving a cheeky smile at Saeko.

"Are you volunteering to run a on ship radio station?"

"If it keeps you happy and from thinking I am freeloading on this fine warship of yours!" Elina softly exclaimed with pride.

"Ok then you will be assigned three personnel, you will also have a lower office that will be converted, there will be enough people for you to run this station through all watch. Once we arrive with the new task force I'll put int a request to see if other ships want to pipe it in, you will not transmit anything not pre-approved, and you will not transmit outside of the ship with out permission." Seako made a few notes making sure some Heis were assigned to the new entertainment department of the ship and messaged Jayne to arrange for an office to be converted and a dedicated internal ship channel set up for use.

"Sweeet!" Elina smiled a wide goofy grin that warmed her expression up immensely. "Oh do not worry about me on the censorship part. I know when to keep my mouth shut. I could pair up with the on-duty Coms Officer and work out of the communication station on board the ship. I am sure there is a back-up system I could use. This way each shift can play the pre-recorded programs That I come up with. In case of an emergency, I could dual as a radio operator." Giving Saeko a smile that drove her fans wild.

"In case of anything Civilian's will not be on on my bridge. There is a single internal channel you will be allowed access to. And I do hope you are right in you statements, if I do feel like you are countermanding or trying to get around the censorship parts, or if I feel you are not preforming you duties well enough there is alway the scullery, you can work there and retain your right of staying aboard."

"I am not a some flunky to clean up after adults!" Elna sniffed as if she had been insulted." So you don't have to worry about me! I've been outta of the vat probably longer than you have." Knowing some nekos, that is a bad insult to give.

"I see you SAINT masters have given you only the best of intel on me." Saeko grinned coldly. "Shame it seems they have failed you. Please leave me to my lunch before I have a change of heart and have you scrubbing pots, and painting exterior hull plating." She glared at the entertainer for a moment longer before starting to eat her food and ignoring the younger neko.

Elina muttered as she got up, "only to get me in trouble..." Seeing that she was dismissed by Saeko being obvious about it. "You still haven't told me who your cook was!" But then she was already moving away from Saeko, leaving the woman to her lunch.

Once the Door slid shut Saeko looked up at the now sealed door ans stuck out her tounge. She was so irritated by the civilen she wasn't sure she really wanted to eat what was before her.
