Moon Town 2

The stench in the air was unbearable. The air scrubbers had been running at half speed for the past week. The engineers, or really the folks who were the closes things to engineers, had claimed they would have been back up after the first day, but that 24 hours had stretched out for seven other days. It wasn't like it smelt grand even when they were working, but at least you didn't always feel out of breath and tasting foot and body funk.

Elina moved the dimly lit corridors of the complex, hoping her meager transmissions were getting past the NMX. She was heading on her usual rounds, humming a soft tune she liked. Being trailed by those that liked her songs. It brightened their day. Even though it prevented her from getting a bit more than usual. As most residence of the place, were always scrounging and the only currency she had was herself to get food. But then big boss always took his share from her meager rations above the normal she got.

At least the techs had found stuff to fix the scrubbers till the next breakdown. She scrambled through the warrens hoping that none of the Bosses or their underlings were about to delay her in getting her daily rations. She hated to be this way. But it was all part of life. At least she survived the lottery to survive this long. Hearing voices up ahead, she stop humming and motioned those tagging along to remain quiet as she looked around the corner to see what lay ahead.

Seeing the usual crowd surrounding one of the Big Bosses handing out the rations that she hanged out with for protection from the other bosses. He was rewarding the Techs with extra rations for getting the air smelling better. She unbuttoned her blouse exposing more skin than usual as she stepped into view of the Big Boss. She waved to him as she approached to get in line. Those that were following her faded from view as he wasn't their Boss for their group.

She joined in the line near the end, hoping to get at least something. Or she was going to disappear again to her usual hidy place. The base's radio station for short range communications and to the miners when this place was an active mining operation. After a few minutes of waiting and the line gotten shorter, but still there was a lot of people ahead of her. She started singing a soft tune in her pleasant voice to entice those that have gotten their rations to share with her for the evening meals entertainment. Even though she was announcing her presence to the big boss.

She sang softly and pleasantly as a few kinder hearted people gave a little of their portion. She smiled her thanks to them and in a pause, wolfed down the food to quell the the hunger pangs. She resumed singing once she had eaten the what little food she had gotten as the line shorten suddenly to realize the rationed food was all gone. And those that didn't get any, grumbled in their usual fashion.

Elina sighed as she approached the Big Boss and hummed a bit louder as she went into her usual strip tease routine to entice him to share his larger portion with her for a quickly. She swayed and swiveled as she slowly seductively remove her clothes, keeping them within her grip till she could tie them to herself in an alluring manner. She approached him , letting him and those that stayed a good view of her as she gyrated about, becoming more exposed to them.

Looking at him with a hopeful look, letting him have a good view and to see if he was interested in her to at least give her some of his rations so she could eat for the night romp with him. At times she hated her physique, yet it could be a blessing in this case. He was kind enough to shove away the female he was with and motioned her to join him. She snuggled down next to him and he shared what little hydroponics had produced and ready to be eaten.

Once they finished eating, they both got up and went to his room within the complex. She followed him as he grabbed her arm and led the way into his quarters. He flopped down on one of the better couches and pulled her next to him. She went willing and snuggled up against him. Unsure as he made no move towards her. She looked at him questionably, letting him speak first as she just cuddled him in her state of dress.

He just stared at the wall across from the couch, where they sat. "Is there any way we can increase the gain on your radio?" She froze as that was her secret, but somehow someone had found out and told him.

"I-i dunno. All I know it works still. But the P.A. system still works, Big Boss." Pandering to his ego. "I'm sure you've heard me singing and telling news to keep everyone entertained."

He nodded as he looked thoughtful. "Have you received any messages?" Looking at her with curiosity.

"Not yet. Just static and an occasional chirping sound." Elina spoke softly, looking up at him with her eyes wide open, letting him see her unusual iris's.

"Just don't let the our captors find out about your radio." He spoke, getting that crafty look.

Elina nodded with a soft affirmative. She would have to be more careful in going to the radio. At least SAINT still occasionally contacted her. But then it was catching each other on the air. "I won't." When he nudged her to get a response from her.

"Run along and be a good girl. I'm gonna crash and need to lock up." He stood, letting her fall to the floor unhindered.

Elina fled the quarters with him chasing her out to fend for herself. She was thankful for the brief respite from the roving gangs of his and others. It was a catch-22 situation. She smirked and quickly got dressed and scampered off through the complex, seeing what she could scavenge for trade and the next possible repair job on the air system. She could hear the clanking of the fans that pushed the air through the complex and dull ever present throbbing of the air pumps forcing air through the scrubbers.

At least, Elina had her freedom to move about the complex as more and more people headed to their place of sleeping. And less people to harass her.

Moon Town 2

Elina pulled the hood up over her hair and scampered through the dimly lit corridors, moving quickly to her destination. Keeping an eye on her back trail to make sure she wasn't followed. Stopping near a garbage dumpster that was reeking of vegetables and fruits remains, she looked around and raided it for additional sustenance. Picking out the better remains and wrapping them up for later consumption. She moved on quickly to avoid the roving gangs that kept some semblance of order the domed moon city.

Slipping through little used corridors, past empty housing, that once housed a once thriving community. She debated to do a quick check of the residences. But knowing her luck, they've been already picked clean as she moved on, eating what she had scored from the Dumpster.

She checked once more around her and squatted to remove a small panel just big enough for her to squeeze through. She made one more check and squeezed into the maintenance corridor, replacing the panel behind her. She smiled as the breeze of air caressed along her skin as she made her way up to her hidey hole and the Moon Base Radio room. It was almost for her nightly P.A. system show to cover up her radio usage.

Elina settled in her cushy comfortable seat and relaxed as she pulled out a slip of paper. She looked it over and then compared it to the tally sheet. ~~ooooo a new one! a crab~~ She added a mark to the total tally sheets of the NMX personnel that been spotted in a new spot. ~~This is interesting to say the least.~~ She thought as she powered up the radio along with the P.A. System.

So far the count was at least up to 200 NMX Nekos of various skills and 1 Mish Crab. She tore up the slip of paper into small pieces and scattered them into the trash with a bunch of others. Now she had to compose another song to get this out over the airwaves and hope it gets through like the previous ones. She dialed in the proper frequency and began to transmit.

She repeated an old drinking song of 201 bottles of beer, making up new lines as she sang to provide a sense of normalcy to their plight. After a lengthy time of singing and finally down to the last bottle of beer that had one drunken lobster in it.

She waited with the radio receiver on as she pick up the thread of the story she left in a cliff hanger, even changing her voice for the different characters that was part of the story and made limited sounds effects to enhance the experience.

As the music played and the show went on, there were spikes of interference and static. It all had to be timed right and pulsed in the right frequency to keep the NMX listening station from picking up on it. the pulses came in in time to the beats each on was the same, minus the fact that the amplitude would change. It was simple Tic Tak code.

Code:
received... the chair is against the wall... the chair is against the wall...
John has a long mustache... John has an long mustache... On like Red Dawn...
On Like Red Dawn... The monkey has the barrels... The monkey had the barrels...

She would know the meanings they were prescribed code phrases she had been given before she was sent years ago. They were coming, soon and in force.

////

Far at the edge of the system

A shuttle powered up and jumped into ftl once it's orbit put it back behind the sun from the moon. They had the last bit of information needed for the liberation force.

Elina ears perked up on the incoming static over the radio transceiver as it warbled it Tic Tac code. She wrote quickly as she didn't miss a beat of her story. At least the code part which she could decrypt later. Once she had it down on paper, she reached over and shut down the Transceiver. She was anxious to end the story, glancing at the time. She had at least ten more minutes before she could shut down for the night...

~Ten Minutes Later~
She sighed in relief when she found a good stopping point and gave her little good bye spiel about recycling, saving organic garbage for the Hydroponics. The usual Mish propaganda She leaned back as she shut down the P.A. system for the rest of the night.

She immediately began to decrypt the message and smiled, truly smiled. Her time in Hell was about over. She tore both papers up into small pieces. Letting the pieces fall into the trash with the rest of the 'confetti'. She looked at it and frowned. She wanted to burn it. But the overworked air system would leave the scent of smoke and that would start a major search for the source.

She fidgeted suddenly and she smiled. She urinated on the scraps of paper in the trash bucket, turning it into mush. Once done, she stirred it up even more to really dissolve the evidence if the Mish ever came over in one of their unannounced sweeps to keep the captured refugees from forming up to revolt against them. Even this old radio room would be searched as they went everywhere, leaving nothing to chance.

Once she was done, took the peed in bucket with it ink stained mush with her when she left the her little radio room as as close as possible looking undisturbed. It was time to sleep and dream of happy times comings and that big huge ice cream sundae!

Elina moved through the complex carrying the now stinking bucket to the central waste reclamation point to dump the contents of the bucket. It was quiet as the forced residents were settling in for the night. Very few were out, but they was more interested in getting home to their kin after a hard days work in Hydroponics. They nodded to her, thankful for the times she breaks up their monotony of the day as they struggled to survive amidst the deteriorating machinery of the Moon City 2. She nodded back with a soft smile as she walked passed them.

Even after 2 plus years here, there was hope. But it hadn't arrived yet and they was overdue to a Mish inspection of the facility. But of late, the last several months, there hadn't been any. Elina could see the reclamation point coming up and was wondering why there was a group of Residence lined up against the wall. She looked around as she came to a stop in the shadows to watch.

There was several Mish Neko's in full battle gear and armor. A Senior Non-Com in Mish Neko Dress uniform was directing several of the refugees into dumping the waste buckets and going through the waste. Smashing the semi-solids paper thin to the ground. She looked worried. She stepped back into the deeper shadows. She swallowed silently at the fear induced lump in her throat and her heart to race. She wanted to run, but going slow was to her advantage as it gave her time to spot obstacles in her way before she ran into them.

~~ Oh sacred being, hear this mere mortal, let get me away from those evil spawned safely!~~ Elina silently prayed as she left the area.

She shivered as the laughter of the Mish Nekos chase her after her, sending an ice shiver run down her back. She heard of the atrocities they did to the refugees. She could feel the tears began to course down her cheeks, nearly blinding her. "SAINT can go <CENSORED> themse...!" She muttered softly, catching herself as she placed a hand over her mouth, looking back over her shoulder the way she had just left.

Elina pressed herself into an alcove, trembling in fear, hoping that she had remained unnoticed with tears falling ignored. She never been so scared and she still had the bucket with the incriminating evidence that would end her life as food for the Mish and that it was just a rumor, that she wasn't used for their pleasure or to be a surrogate for their young.

She quietly placed the used bucket on the ground and sat on it as her legs was weak from fear. Then nature called again. ~~oh great!~~ Lifting up long enough to remove her panties to answer the nature call. At least it was quick. She finished up and without paper to finish the job with. "Great," She muttered as the Neko Patrol marched by her spot, with her pants and panties down around her ankles and sitting on a wastebucket amidst the fresh stench....

Neko Patrol Leader glanced her way and snickered at her with her head bowed in shame and fear amidst her own stench. "That is the finest that our hated Enemy has left to fight us! Soon they'll capitulate to our superior ways!" Getting a strong "Yes Sir," The Patrol Unit responded as one, while continuing on their way.

Elina kept her head bowed and stayed put till they was gone. She got up, sighing softly and cleaned up the best she could. She gotten dressed and grabbed her bucket and fled to the reclamation point. Seeing the residence gone and no blood stains, she gave a sigh of relief. But the area stank. She dumped her bucket contents and then rinsed the bucket out.

Elina took the bucket with her as she left the area as she calmed down from her encounter and knowing that nothing could be traced to her. Focusing on the huge ice cream sundae with bananas, nuts, chocolate syrup so thick it was like taffy. Sprinkled with her favorite nuts and don't forget the cherry on top.

She hoped the people she seen being harassed were okay. She would have to look them up and see if they was okay. She walked around the corner onto her street? corridor. There was the group hanging together quietly talking missing the two who had the dirty duty.

"Excuse me?" Elina spoke up as she came to a stop near the group, watching them jump and spin.

"Yeah?" The tough looking guy trying to sound brave in front of his peers.

She could see the others, hiding their fear, putting on a brave front, hoping she didn't see their humiliation. "Is "all" of your gang okay?" Looking at them in her usual air-headed way.

"We're okay. Just the two of us needed to get cleaned up. Ya know? It's hard work scavenging stuff and it's very dirty." One of the others spoke with bravado.

Elina nodded as she knew them. "Come on up, when your two buds show up." As she entered the apartment complex that was assigned to her.

The group of them nodded as they waited for their buds to show up, watching her disappear into the building, they realized that she was their neighbor.

Moontown 2 : Elina's Apartment 306

Elina left her door open to let the gang know it was safe to enter her apartment. She looked around at the meager worn out, but serviceable furniture. Even if she left the apartment door wide open, nothing would disappear. But then even with the door closed, anyone could march right in as the Mish Patrols burned all the locks out, making them inoperable.

She placed her refuge bucket in a closet that was empty for the water-closet that people could use in private if desired. But privacy was a serious luxury for the current Moon Town 2 Residents and the refugees that came in under the control of the Mish invasion force when they took over the Moon.

She slipped into her bedroom and cleaned up the best she could, sighing as she would have to use water for washing her clothes. She put on fresh clothing as the gang noisily entered her apartment and took all of the chair and seats. Plus any place that had a flat surface. She heard the clinking of bottles and the tiny sounds of bottle caps hitting the floor.

Elina knew that the drinking would start and she would have to deal with the drunks and a mess. She entered the room with her blouse unbuttoned, showing off her bra covered chest. "Hey?! Where's mine?"

One of the gang tossed her a warm beer, which she easily caught. She opened the bottle and took a looooong drink, feeling the alcohol hit her system. She flopped down on her couch, between two of the gang member's females, wiggling her way in to sit on the worn cushions with them.

At first it was just drinking to get smashed, but no matter how much she drank, she could only get a good warm buzz and remain sober. Finally one of them swore that he was going to stand up to the Mish troopers. Others agreed with him, spouting what they would do to them.

"I tell you we ought to resist them! Set up traps and bushwhack them!" One of the girls spoke up that was 16 going on 60. They had all the youthful looks, but the captivity, gangs and depressing atmosphere of the place after two long years of confinement.

Elina heard it all and knowing these people were just spouting off bravado to get over the horrors of the encounter. She couldn't blame them and she wasn't a fighter, but an Artist belonging to the guild.

She listened to each as they got drunk and paired off to go find a private place to be alone. She smirked as the first place to get taken was her bedroom and giggles were heard coming from behind the closed door. Which brought about a round of lewd remarks. Some just passed out and toppled to the floor to sleep off their intoxicated state. Soon she was the only one awake and sober once the beer was gone.

Soon she succumbed to sleep herself amongst the empty beer bottles, caps and the remaining gang members that was to drunk to get a partner and leave under their own power.

Moon town 2 : Apt 306

Elina woke several hours later, noting the mess and a few of the gang was gone that spent the night. She cleaned up her apartment and straighten up the bed that smell of intimacies. But then she didn't mind as the air was foul anyway. She looked thoughtful around the apartment, gathering up the remaining belonging she owned in clothing. All of her good stuff was secured.

She packed her travel worn pack and took off, carrying a crate of bottles and caps to claim the deposit on them. And her smelly waste bucket to empty at the reclamation place. She looked around humming a soft tune as she usually does when traveling.

Moon Town 2

She was unaware of the bounce in her step as she traveled and the others noticed it. Getting wolf whistles and catcalls as she passed them. She nodded and smiled at them as if they was the most important person on the moon. She even didn't notice the underlying stench of others. She was happy and she could really perform in that state.

She collected on the returned bottles and quickly ate the food in exchange for the bottles. Soon she was on her way to her tower to perform in her morning show. She had picked up a bunch of skinny kids following and singing a bit off key.

Moon Town 2

Elina stopped singing, turning around and chasing off the children. She slipped through the door and secured from the inside. It would stop the others, but not a Neko or a strong person who was determined to get through.

She scampered up the stairs into the radio room that was back up to the one that was normally used. Settling in her seat, she turned on the P.A. System and began her show. Keeping to the usual program that wouldn't get the Mish Neko upset with her and the rest of the population of the Moon. She did her usual two songs and gave the latest news of what happening around the two Moon Towns.

Moon Town 2

Elina relaxed, listening to her music as she was in a creative mood despite the horrors of her situation. She wrote out a new song to sing that scheduled time in the evening. And seeing the usual Mish propaganda to announce to their captives and cover for the NMX listening base. She rolled her eyes at the latest Mish News of them preventing possible saboteurs against their fellow undisciplined in the proper Mish Servitude.

She wanted to throw it away and ignore it. But she knew she would for self survival and keeping her base of operations going. She eyed the cabinet that held the only transmitter in the whole place between the two Moon Towns, with the exception of the Mish Base in their own Bubble a few hundred kilometers from each of the two Moon Town.

Elina shrugged as she couldn't do much about her situation. Until something changed either for the good or bad. She practiced her new song she just wrote, looking it over carefully. She nodded as she sang it capella. She had to make her rounds to visit the Big Boss for her sector, Hydroponics for her pay for the two daily performances she provided for the two communities and the Mish who also listened to it in their enclave to make sure she spread the Mish news as they saw it.

:: Moon Town 2 ::

Elina moved through the corridors of the Moon Town 2. Humming softly the new composition she had made up to one of her favorite songs. She waved to a few friends she was closed to. Stopping for a bit, she conversed with them for a few minutes, itching to tell them what she knew. But she didn't as a lot of lives hung in the balance.

Moon Town 2 :: Four hours later

Elina laid half asleep, tangled up in the sheets with Big Boss Bobby “Pugster” Bowanski half on her and his leg between hers as he snored that could be heard across the vacuum into the Mish Complex when the lights flickered and the loose fan stopped it clanking. Her eyes opened wide as she wanted to gag Big Pugster so she could hear the soft throbbing echo of the air pumps. She glanced at the air vent and saw the streamers fluttering in the air flow.

She sighed and snuggled against the big Nepleslian Ex-Hard Rock Miner and let herself fall asleep. She liked him as he could be gentle, yet with an explosive temper. But he never could bring himself to hit a female. Yell at her, wave his big hamlike fist at them, but never hit them. If his anger got the better of him, just rip off their clothes and chase them out from his presence.

Elina never gave him the chance to get that angry with her. She knew him pretty well. Just walk into his presence with nothing. She would settle on a nearby chair and let him look all he wanted, hiding nothing.

Moon Town 2

Few minutes later, Elina woke up a bit chilly and alone. She looked around to realize that Big Pugster had left her and the blankets on the floor. Sighing softly, she got up and made the bed neatly and scampered into the bathroom, looking forward to a nice hot shower. She grabbed her clothes en-route as she entered the bathroom.

Big Pugster was in the kitchen, banging pots and pans about as he was in midst of cooking breakfast. He was singing loudly off-key one of her ditties that she sings during storytelling portion of her show for the people here on the moon.

She smiled as she cleaned up and washed her clothes. Once that chore was done, the aroma of cooked foods filled his little 4 room apartment. Hearing her stomach rumble in anticipation of a decently cooked breakfast, she hung her wet clothes up to dry and soon joined him in the kitchen.

He gave her a big hug and let her go. She returned the hug, smiling up at the big hard-rock miner. She really liked Bobby Bowanski. “Heyas, Big Dude. Food smells really good!” Releasing him as she moved away to set the table as he returned back to finish cooking.

“Thanks El.” He rumbled as he cooked, glancing her way with an appreciative smile on his face. “So whot’s your plans for the day?” as he transferring food from the pans onto plates.

Elina finished setting the table, moving to help him. She held the plates as he served the food onto the plates, ignoring his lustful appreciative looks. “If allowed, I could hang out here and keep you company while my clothes dry.” She looked hopeful up at him as she moved to set the food laden plates on the table.

“I dunno about that. Got the guys coming over for our usual gab fest and man talk.” Bob spoke placing the dirty pan in the sink with a clatter and ran some water into it to soak.

Elina nodded as she made some toast, “You whont hear a peep outta me.” As she, sat next to him, placed a slice of toast on his plate. “Even serve drinks for you and the guys.”

He looked thoughtful at her as he ate his breakfast, watching her as she settled next to him to eat her food with her graceful manners. He spoke between bites, “At least wear one of my t-shirts.” Nodding thoughtfully, Bobby laid his spoon down on his plate. He peeled off hid t-shirt and held it out to her.

She took it and slipped into it as she felt his groping hands briefly caress her. She smiled at him, letting the t-shirt settle upon her. She finished off her meal and begins to clean up the kitchen as Bob retires into the common room.

Moon Town 2
Time: Just as the orders given to launch the scouts:

Elina heard the other big bosses of the community of Moon Town 1 and 2 being greeted by Big Boss Bobby “Pugster” Bowansky into his house. She quickly grabbed the big pitcher of some strong brew from frig and filled the mugs with the cold brew. Once the mugs were filled, she carried the tray into the room just as the guys were settling down in their chosen seats.

She made her way passed each of the Bosses, pausing long enough for them to grab a mug before proceeding to the next. Making sure that Big Pugster got his the biggest mug.

She left them to their conversations to return to the kitchen with a few catcalls, appreciative remarks on how lucky Big Pugster to have such a pretty obedient female to serve them.

Once she was out of sight, the conversation turned to the situation at hand. The declining of resources to keep the two Moon Towns up and functioning with a few remarks thrown in on how the Mish was making raids on the communities, depriving them.

Moon Town 2
Time: Few minutes later.

Elina slipped from Big Pugster’s apartment and made her way through the Moon Town 2. She was feeling restless, tucking in her freshly cleaned shirt into her cast off miner’s pants as she scampers through the corridors. She looked around as she travelled quickly, pausing to lift someone’s rations when they weren’t looking.

She entered her little radio station and settled down. She powered up her transceivers and the Moon Town’s public address system. She leaned back in her seat, looking out the viewport over the vast barren moon of the large gas planet. She sat listening to the static coming over the airwaves as she went through the music cubes that she had traded for from the local inhabitants.

She was happy and content, but rather be on a planet where the wind blew. She began to set aside various styles of music from around the universe to play as her equipment warmed up.

When Elina was ready for her show, she turned on the transmitter and the P.A. System. She started out with a heavy metal rock-n-roll number from one of the top musical groups of Nepleslia.

~~ “This ought to shake up those Mish!” ~~ Elina thought as she nodded as it was time for her noonish program for those stranded here under the thumbs of the Mish. Radio was transmitting to the Moon Town 1 and the Mish enclave. Plus the area around the moon out to the edge of the system, reaching everything, except those not in direct line of transmission.

She started her program with the heavy rock number. She smiled as she mentally dedicated the song to Big Bobby “Pugster” Bowansky. She really liked a lot, even though he wasn’t handsome like the others. He was a bit rugged in looks. But anyone that’s been a miner for awhile becomes a bit scarred. Maybe She’ll return to his apartment and spend more time with him.

OOC: this is the last posting in this thread. Moving to the Main thread. Thank you for your time in reading this thread.
