As the Sagacity made reentry, the sky was filled with flak. Fighters were trying to pop up and make attack runs on the anti-air but were having a difficult time of it. Thankfully the Sagacity was able to avoid the majority of the ground fire as it made its approach. Reaching the first landing zone, the first recon team quickly exited and activated their stealth systems fading into the treeline. "Sagacity, Hound 1-4. Good insertion. Moving to first objective." Came the update from the first team's combat controller.
As the Sagacity lifted off, it was painted with target locks. A few of the tankettes had repositioned to fire on the gunship. Soon after, there were missiles in the air.

As the boarding team's moved further into the vessel, they still hadn't found any bodies. Though this became clear a few moments later. Each team began reporting contact and weapons fire could be heard over the comms. They were being ambushed.
