Tan Ann Pan made her way inside, skirting past those near the door more as if they were inanimate obstacles in her path than members of her crew she could speak to. Her first desination was the hemosynth tanks, and the first task she gave herself was to check on how Victory's recovery was proceeding. Natsumi was next, by some logic the patient in the second-most severe state. Though they were all off the map as far as triage procedure went. Despite the captain's words, Tan Ann Pan felt she had no authority over patients she hadn't been ordered to treat, until they gave it to her.
No intervention was necessary. It appeared the first officer still had some shrapnel embedded in her that the tank was not equipped to remove, but it wasn't going to stop her recovery, and removing it would do more harm than good. Tan might well have left it in, if she'd been able to treat Natsumi, but she likely would have instructed the tank not to regenerate nearby tissues or encapsulate the foreign material until Natsumi was stable enough to receive surgery. It did not matter, it could be removed and the damage from that repaired when more downtime was available.
She didn't have much to say, and preferred to say nothing as she turned away from the tank. Before she could speak to her next patient, Tan still forced herself, with her back to Natsumi. "You'll be out in a few minutes, as soon as muscle repairs are complete."
Mission accomplished, Tan Ann Pan looked to size up the wound on her first Gartagen trauma patient, building a map with her sensory augmentations. Perhaps she wasn't the most friendly doctor around, or perhaps it just wasn't a good day.
She'd paid no attention to Freyja yet, since arriving, though she had completed the infantry Hei's treatment for the burns on her back before they'd left the armour bay, earlier.
