Uso frowned,

"Seriously, you guys are all killjoys."

Uso's catlike ears perked up a bit out from under her hair,

"And I think I just heard someone saying that we're partners with benifits. So I'm totally going to go check that out while you guys figure out who's buying the ship from Theseus,"

Uso would fearlessly lead herself towards the Rec room with a bottle in hand, regardless of what Vier was saying as she left.

Rec Room

"HEY!" Uso shouted, "What's going on in here?!"

Rec Room
"Meh, he's just-" Adria began, only to be interrupted by Uso. Both Adria and Adilis' antennae gave a twitch at the shout and they both looked at her. "EEK!" Adilis yelped, startled, and he jumped back. "Uh. A normal conversation," Adria said unamused, looking at Uso.

Rec Room
Kryss hadn’t noticed Abigail straight away as she was occupied with Adria and was about to move to talk to her when Uso walked in. “I’ll have to agree with the short one on this, no problems in here.”

She checked her PDA for any excuse to get out of the increasingly tense situation before her bad mood got the best of her. However until the meeting later she wasn’t due anywhere and sighed a little too loudly.

“Don’t suppose you have any full strength black on you Uso?” Kryss said yawning again, she’d noticed the bottle in her hand and eyed it carefully.

Abigail continued her dead stare into the wall opposite to her. Her eyes were dull and glazed, the only hint at her being alive was the occasional blink. As Uso entered the room and bellowed, Abigail not so much as flinched. Suddenly, her statuesque phase is ended by her rapidly snatching the small bag kept at her side. A few seconds of rummaging reveals the item of her search, her prized datapad. With speeds previously unwielded by the small figure, her hand began to trace an incredibly detailed image of the room around her. The furniture, the lighting, and yes, even the people. Abigail practically entered a world of her own at that moment, the only thought her brain could comprehend: draw.

Rec Room
Adilis glanced at Abigail, but when he heard Kryss call Adria "The short one" he gulped and looked up, nervously. He knew that wasn't going to go down well with his insectoid sister. And it didn't. Adria froze when she heard Kryss say this and slowly turned to face Kryss. "Excuse me, what did you just call me?" she asked in disbelief. "Uh. I'm not short," she said sternly, clearly irritated by that comment.

Rec room
Kryss turned back to the short bug and looked down at her, the same smirk from earlier came back quickly replaced by a politician type smile. “Really? I couldn’t tell from up here, you seem a little below average.”

Kryss was cursing herself on the inside for not having coffee before she came to the S6 complex. She would attempt to move back to the couch and resume lying down,

HALLWAY

"Konnichiwa, dozo yoroshiku." Aster smiled at Kasumi and the robotic girl beside her and the dark haired Jack. Her attention drifted to the albino Separa'Shan. It was certainly starting to get crowded in this hallway but it was only polite to introduce herself to the strangers. "I'm Aster Blake, I'm an intern here with Section 6 but I spent most of my childhood in the Yugumo Cluster between Hotaru, Mayer Station and Leo Star Fortress. It's nice to see more Yamataians coming to visit this little dust planet, especially members of the Star Army. It makes it seem a little more like home. This gentleman beside me is Jay Nagato, he's one of Jack's Lieutenants as a Saber Commander." She nudged Jay gently as she introduced him with a bit of pride and obvious fondness.

She beamed as her gaze shifted to Mark. "Well, welcome home, Mark-san. This is certainly going to be interesting for Miss Izzy, as Uso-neesan mentioned." She tilted her head as she looked to Jack. "Mr. Pine, we should probably move this party to the Rec Room? It seems like we have something else to celebrate, a homecoming for Mark and a welcome to our visitors? I don't think Uso-neesan intended for us to drink all of that wine out here in the hallway. I can put in an order to Akemi's for food or for pizza to be delivered?"

Rec Room
"WH-" Adria began, annoyed. She narrowed her eyes and glared at the obviously taller human. "From up there? No I am not below average." Kryss had lit her very short fuse as she gave her a glare so intense it could practically burn through someone like a laser. Adria made no move to stop her from laying down, though her tail began swishing around in frustration.

Rec Room

Uso would set the bottle down on Kryss' stomach,

"This is like, partial strength purple. Have a drink. Coffee is bad for you anyways."

Uso would then turn towards Adilis.

"AND YOU!"

She'd walk over, sizing Adria up, "You're not even 5 feet. You're smol."

Jack grin nervously, not wanting to deal with revealing to his wife that tales of his death had been exaggerated, "Well Jay is my second in command and a trusted friend, but yes let's go to the rec room as I'm pretty sure I hear Adria blowing a fuse."

"I guess miss Enri, if you want to run your tests, that would be a good place to do so. Plus, the hall is getting cramped, so it would be kinda hard to do so here anyways." Mark said with a kind smile to the separa, oddly enough reminding him of Nerai. Having that emotion begin to stir, he made his way to the rec room, "what's up in here?"

Neera opted to follow Mark, still curious about this development, "So Mark, tell me what your time with the Star Army was like?"

Hall -> Rec Room
Chlorate tilted her head and looked at Jack. "She is blowing a fuse? Is she a robot?" she asked, clearly not understanding the expression.

Rec Room
Adilis quietly looked at Uso and shyly shivered. Adria's tail swished around even faster as she looked at Uso, interjecting "No I'm not! Five feet is just... What? There's no way I'm under five feet tall!"

Rec room
Kryss grabbed the bottle and downed what was left letting out a long sigh afterwards and setting it down on the table. “You sure know what a girl needs Uso I’ll give you that.”

She closed her eyes as the new arrivals entered and prayed they’d leave her alone, “dealing with the short one was enough work for me.” She said out loud only slightly by accident

Heck Room
"Ugh!" Adria exclaimed, annoyed. With a POOF her tail fur suddenly went all puffed up and fluffy from anger. She looked at Mark as he entered the room and angrily said "Dad, tell them I'm not short." She eyed Jack as he came in and said "You too, dad." It took her a few seconds to register that her dad had just entered the room twice, upon which her red-irised eyes widened, confused.

Adilis inched towards Mark as he entered, and the one-inch-shorter bug eventually came to stand next to Mark. When he saw Jack, he backed away and said "Wha... dad... there's... how?"

Jay perked up at Aster nudging him. Seeing Jack's clone - wait, who is the clone of who? - the conversation suddenly registered in his sleepy mind.

"Oh, hello." He said, extending his hand in greeting. "I apologize for my appearance. I've been quite busy with..." he trailed off as he tried to remember what exactly he'd been working on for the past 6 hours. "Important projects. Again, apologies for the rough handling of your arrival - I'm usually checking the security feeds..." he trailed off again. After ribbing his eyes, he finished curtly. "Pleased to make your acquaintance."

Turning back to Aster, he quickly responded to her question. "Remind me tomorrow and I'll walk you through my home setup - maybe we can work some of that in."

HALLWAY

Aster continued to smile brightly at Jay. "Of course. Would it be easier for you for me to just stay over tonight to get a batter look or try to wake you up tomorrow?" She watched Jack head towards the Rec Room with Mark and Neera in tow. She waited for Jay and the others to start following their lead before she started in that direction as well.

She refocused her attention on Kasumi and Chlorate and cheerfully smiled. "It's a good day for a party, though I'm sorry this morning was a rough start. We've been a little on edge lately but things are settling down again."

Hallway

She certainly was not surprised to hear that the group had been "on edge lately", on account of the recent economic crisis which had made it to the front headlines of the many prominent news organizations in the sector and the other violent crisis which had occurred in the Section 6 neighborhood. She imagined that the young girl had been entirely overwhelmed by the past events, but she admired her dedication to her work in the face of adversity.

Kasumi nodded to Jay as Aster introduced him to her, as well. The two seemed fond of each other, and Kasumi could not help but to let a demure smile cross her features.

"I appreciate the warm welcomes, Aster Blake.", she spoke with a low and respectful bow. "I should be leaving the hallway, to keep track of Mark.", Kasumi added as she gestured lightly toward the entrance to the rec room before following Mark, Jack, and the white-haired wolf girl inside.

Rec Room
Kryss vas vaguely aware of all the people entering the room and decided it was probably a good time to stop annoying the bug creature, standing up once again after accepting she would never get any more nap time she moved over and crouched in front of Adria. "Alright I guess I do owe you an apology, its my bad for not getting sleep and I shouldn't take it out on you."

Her head was a little hazy from the alcohol but she wasn't entirely drunk, she reached back and gently stroked her fluffed up tail smiling, "you know you're tail is pretty cute like this and super soft." Kyrss stood back up and turned to abigail "hey, not sure of your name but why not come join in what's turning into a party." Turning around again the alcohol starting to have a bigger impact on her Kryss saw Jack and Mark and immediately stopped in her tracks.

"Director, there seems to be two of you?" She looked at the bottle on the table and wondered if it was stronger than she realised, even so her tolerance of alcohol rivaled that of full grown veteran drinkers. "Uh, so the meeting later, I think we may want to reschedule that to avoid any consistency issues."

Kryss moved as though to leave before her tiredness also caught up with her and she stumbled into the crowd standing just inside the doorway with a surprised cry of alarm.

Potentially Soon to be Wreck Room
"Wel-" Adria began, only for Kryss to give her tail a stroke. She was quickly angered, snapping "Don't touch my tail." If that wasn't bad enough, Adria heard Kryss call her tail cute and breathed in, her tail bristling. "CUTE?!" she hollered. "DID YOU JUST CALL MY TAIL CUTE?! DID YOU JUST CALL ME CUTE?!?!" she yelled. Kryss' previous comments about her modest height were definitely fueling the fire.

Adilis backed away from Mark and Jack, confused. "D-dad why is there... w-which one is you?" he asked, moving towards the corner.

Neera quickly moved over to Adria and locked her in a hug, "Alright, time for the anger fest to be over." She said picking up the smaller girl before sitting down on the couch with her.

Mark caught Kryss as she stumbled into the group with a quickness his enhanced reflexes could only allow before she could topple, possibly taking someone with her. "Woah miss, are you okay? I think that meeting of yours better wait. How about we set you down on the couch so the alcohol has time to wear off?" He said giving her a concerned smile as he tried to guide her to the couch with out falling.

Jack cleared his throat as this went on, "Well, now that is settled, I agree an explanation is in order for those who don't know yet. Mark here is the me everyone thought died on a mission six months back when S6 was still small and housed in just a warehouse. He suffered amnesia during his absence and had spent time aboard a Star Army vessel as a civilian member of the crew. He will officially be my brother now. We'veded to run S6 together, so he's now co-director, commander, and admiral. Man I need a single title for all this. He explained with a short sigh afterwards.

He went and kneeled down next to Adilis, "It's okay buddy, things have calmed down now and you have a uncle now who loves you just as much as I do. How about we go find you a snack, or something?" Jack said calmly and reassuringly placing a hand gently on his son's shoulder.

Adria looked like she was about to rant on more, but when Neera's fur touched her she quickly calmed down. "So... soft..." she mumbled, cuddling Neera. Adria started purring, and her tail went less floofy. Adria's 5 foot long tail started wrapping around Neera's tail and she now seemed docile, partially napping leaning on her.

Adilis nervously nodded and looked into his eyes. His stomach started rumbling as if Jack's suggestion signaled for him to be hungry.

Chlorate squinted and looked around the rec room, then turned towards Jack. "I do not see a robot in here..." she commented, referring to her earlier question.
