Kryss found herself suddenly moving towards the couch when a moment before she had been moving towards the floor, she looked around as she was being sat down and saw Mark looking down at her with a concerned look before shifting her gaze to look at Jack and getting confused all over again.

"I... That sounds like a good idea, yeah some rest would be nice..." she slumped her head forwards into Marks chest as she fell back into the chair with what little energy she had left fading quickly under combined assault from tiredness and alcohol. One of her hands had instinctively grabbed mark by the arm as she fell back and her body flopped at a weird angle almost falling off the couch all together.
 
Mark wasn't sure what to do with the woman slumped against his chest, but was grateful for the distraction of chlorate's question, "Well honey, what Jack said was a figure of speech. The girl wasn't actually blowing a fuse, she was just mad."

He now no longer having the distraction, returned to his current dilemma, "psst psst, hey Jack, what do I do? I don't want to move her, but....." Mark whispered to Jack who stood behind the couch with Adilis.

Jack smiled to Adilis,"Let's go get that snack."
"Hmm," Jack said as Mark spoke, " I don't know, improvise. Maybe you two will make a good couple."

"Not funny."

Neera happily snuggled Adria.
 
Mark wouldn't have to move her however as she slumped back into the chair letting go of his arm and glaring at him, although she had appeared unconscious Kryss was far from it. "So, you didn't even bother to try getting me into a more comfortable position huh, count yourself lucky I have high tolerance for drinks or this may have turned slightly more violent."

Kryss crossed her arms and stared at Mark with a look of disappointment mixed with annoyance, she sighed at the situation and dropped her arms. "I guess I can't fault you too much for it though, from what I know you are actually the original Director and now you've returned will be co-directing with your... brother." Kryss stood up moving beside Mark.

"Well just to fill you in, I'm Kryss Black and the official Corporate liaison officer for Galactic Horizon which has recently partnered with S6, as the co-director I feel it's important that you know everything relevant to the position." She gave a smirk and ran a hand through her hair "which includes knowing that I'm the person who will be speaking with you two the most concerning matters of business."
 
"Well miss Black, it is a pleasure to make your acquaintance, but I was attempting to be respectful and not disturb you. I was concerned for your well being, and sought the best course of action to do so. You almost collided with several people, so I helper you to the couch where you could get your bearings. Sorry, for trying to be considerate. If that is understood, then I look forward to our continued partnership." Mark said arms now crossed, his expression firm, not angry, but patient.
 
"Likewise, Director. With introductions aside what is the reason for such a large group suddenly turning up to the rec room?" Kryss had retaken her position on the couch and threw her jacket over the arm rest once more so that she only had her cargo pants and tank top on, looking around at the new arrivals she noticed Kasumi enter and wondered what a Nekovalkyrja was doing out here.

Looking back to Mark she made a tsk sound and shook her head slightly, "Well don't just stand there, you clearly came here with all these people for a reason so sit down already, I don't bite. And in case you're wondering no I don't actually hate you either im just tired so sit down and lets hear the story." She spoke with a fairly laid back tone as opposed to her serious one earlier and had a relaxed posture on the couch which could easily seat 2.
 
Mark lowered his arms, a little thrown off from the sudden switch, but he did not let it show. He took a seat after straightening his button up dress shirt which he wore open with a black tank top underneath. "As I gather, miss Tasuki is throwing a party for some reason. I recently arrived on this planet, so I'm a little out of the loop. I was until recently part of the crew of the YSS-Kaiyo II while dealing with my amnesia. You see the Jack you know of is a ST backup, and I am the original. I founded S6." Mark said summarizing the current situation as he understood it.
 
Kryss smiled slightly as Mark explained his situation feeling some pity for the man who had been replaced by his clone, "Must be hard to look around at your family which is now his family, I can't imagine what it was like when you found out who you really were." She sat back and ran a hand though her hair once more causing it to abandon the pixie look it had been in and instead flop over her face.

Her hand froze in midair and she slowly brought it down to her side saying nothing, Kryss wasn't annoyed just tired and right now she couldn't be bothered fixing it. Mark said a party as happening now anyway so its not like she needed to show off for anything, her current outfit was proof enough of this. "If you laugh, I will not hesitate to shut your mouth understood?" she said softly to Mark who sat beside her.
 
"Oh... there is no other robot?" Chlorate asked, seemingly disappointed.

Adria purred and purred as she was snuggled by Neera's soft fur. Neera would find Adria's long cat tail was now completely coiled around her tail.

"O-okay..." Adilis stuttered in response to Jack.
 
"Sorry chlo, not any I've seen yet. Have you said hi to your new uncle yet, it would be good to introduce yourself." Mark said to his daughter.

"It's not funny though, so I don't even see a reason to. And yes the transition has been hard, and I was told 15 minutes ago." Mark explained to Kryss.
 
"15 minutes huh, well I thought they'd at least let you sit down and think it over before shoving you into my company. Trust me I know I'm far from the best person to be around on a good day just how I've always been unfortunately, so I'm sorry for earlier." Kryss blew a strand of hair out of her mouth while keeping her face forwards, she really shouldn't have left her room this morning without coffee or more sleep and now she'd managed to annoy Adria and hadn't helped Marks situation anymore.

"But y'know, for what its worth if you need someone to talk to on the occasion I'm usually hanging around somewhere if my schedule isn't full. You seem like a pretty chill dude for someone who just went through... well what you did so you have my respect there." She turned to him smirking under her hair, "And once you've been in a few meetings with me on business terms you'll have a better idea of why I don't socialise much."
 
"Thank you, I appreciate the offer. It will be nice to have someone to talk to, and I look forward to working with you miss Black. Mark Oaklen by the way." Mark said offering a hand.

"Ah so that's the name you'll be going by here as well i assume?" Kryss said meeting his hand with her own and engaging in a strong handshake "It suits you, you kinda look like a Mark." for the first time that day she gave a small laugh completely changing her whole outward vibe, Kryss turned away to check her PDA once more confirming her schedule for the next couple of days which thanks to the agreement being finalised was quite empty.

"Well in the interest of passing time which personally I seem to have a lot of now, is there anything you need filled in about the company I represent and the partnership between our entities? I am the liaison officer after all so communicating with the members of a partnered group is my job."
 
"What does your company specialize in exactly, as I understand they are pretty new to the area?" Mark asked simply enjoying the change in atmosphere. This just might be a party after all.
 
"Correct, we only become officially recognised new years day and set up shop with S6. We are a specialist tech design group which was started by my father after I suggested it to be his legacy of sorts." Kryss pulled out her PDA and handed it to Mark so he could look over some of the finer details of Galactic Horizon.

"So far we have developed one AI called Project Dawn which helps us manage some of the mundane points of running a business and also manages our schedules, she is, uh rather it is, an analytical AI with a basic personality. Currently we only have one other project in development named Project Redback, but I can fill you in on details later."

Kryss started fixing her hair and got out a small bottle of gel from her trouser pocket, she ran some through her hair to help get it back into shape. With a last flick it had returned to normal and she sat back and sighed, "You probably don't have to worry about these little things having hair that flops into your face if you don't brush it."
 
Mark's eyes began to rapidly shift as the pad's data was brought directly to his view and scrolled. The glow having started as soon as the PDA was handed to him. "Yes, a very exciting partnership indeed. I suspect we will be creating many future building projects. This project redback sounds quite interesting." He commented as he read.

The question about hair was a strange switch, but a nice one all the same, "I mostly keep mine short except for where spiked in the front. I've debated lately whether, or not to let my facial hair grow out." Mark stated having offered the pad back, having already read through the offered data within under a minute.
 
Taking the PDA back she nodded thoughtfully and stared intently at his face, after a while Kryss nodded to herself once more and cleared her throat. "In my expert opinion, there should be enough beard on this face to block the features from view." She spoke in a mock tone and couldn't help but laugh a little afterwards.

"Sorry, I don't mean it just trying to get into the party spirit. Speaking of which i need a good bottle of spirit right now..." She trailed off clearly thinking about something as her face went blank as if someone had suddenly slipped a blank mask over her.
 
Izzy waddled though the building looking for Jack. She at least wanted to be by his side right now. She knew she was close to having the twins, she could have them any day now. She found him in the rec room with a few other people. "Hey, what's going on?"

She saw a man who looked like Jack but with black hair, she wasn't close enough to see his eye color. She backed up a step or two, placing a hand on her stomach. Last time she saw a look-alike she didn't like the outcome, nothing seemed tense but she was still leery of what could come of the situation.
 
Mark turned around in his seat to see the source of a voice he felt a great sadness to here. "Issabelle?", Mark said rising from his seat in wonder.

Jack turned as well from his place just behind the couch where Mark sat. Hefting Adilis, he noted his wife's apparent concern instantly, "uh, honey, this might be a bit much to hit you with at the minute, but this is Mark Oaklen. He's me. The mission I was listed dead from,...well I wasn't dead."
 
Kryss snapped out of her daze and noticed the new arrival, she looked at her PDA and noticed her father had summoned her presumably on business terms. Standing she collected her things and moved to the door passing Jack and Mark before stopping in front of Issabelle, "Hi don't think we've met and unfortunately I can't stay for introductions right now but I work for Galactic Horizon which I assume Jack would have told you about already."

Kryss turned and gave a curt wave to the two directors before swiftly leaving the rec room and heading to her ride back to the Horizon building to speak with her father, she was intrigued and a little excited. If he was summoning her like this then it meant something was happening with the corp which could even be a potential customer or partner interested in having a chat.
