The C3B(Ship Template) and everything listed under new products is up for approval. Most of the individual parts also have some form of art done for them too.

This also counts as a civilian ship for purposes of military ship design rules.

And finally, I have someone else doing another crew module for me but it is taking some time and it will end up being submitted later as a separate submission. So that is my excuse if I missed any references to the crew module that aren't covered under the one submitted.

Edit: Totally followed the 'don't put shit on image shack' rule too

*counts.*

Ok so, you're using the C3B, as both a military and civilian ship template... and counting all the other things... You're trying to get 32 (the ship is being counted as two seperate craft) things approved.

Also, are you aware that NAM is a strictly military company? They have no civilian sector.

If you don't count 4 out of 5 divisions of NAM then yes, NAM is a strictly military company.

And if you ignore the article and just count the links, then that is still only 31 things. Only 27 of those are up for approval, 26 of those are small component articles. The other is the star ship itself and the other, other 4 are design documents I made to organize things that aren't up for approval but I thought might be interesting for people to poke around with, and that is listed in the main article.

And if you read the C3B(starship) article, you'll see that it is one ship that can have extra armor added just like the C3A and any other ship that uses additional armor schemes like the DD4-D or anything with 'ablative armor'

If you read the submission rules you'll also find that the C3B fits the description of a civilian ship as it isn't run by a paramilitary organization, its weapon systems are under DR3 (and really only there because it has a SuperVogel drive) ect.

So yes, you are right, if you ignore most of what is written.

*blinks. Then reads over what Uso just posted.*

*sighs and then leaves. Banning is not worth taking that bait.*

You know, despite the fact that we really haven't ever used the previous C3 models, I do appreciate a lot of the more miscellaneous submissions, like the escape pods, chairs and cooling grids I briefly looked at through the initial skim.

And I like the rotational thrusters, but then again I'm wow'd by artwork of any kind.

I'll leave approval and scrutiny to the powers that be, but given the technology present on the proposed model I would have to say that if any of these are built, they will be counted as military ships towards the overall military count.

Well the purpose in making the C3B is to make those miscellaneous submissions that can be used to update older ships and to make creating new ships a lot faster for NAM.

In that sense it would be a test ship, and it does meet all the requirements to be a civilian ship except size restrictions I think but really that is just because it isn't shaped like other ships. Being a civilian ship is just an OOC thing so it doesn't count against Nepleslia for resource and 'needing to design civillian ship' rules. NAM isn't going to be building anymore than 1 of these anytime soon and even then it isn't going to let that one go to far.

Edit: And thanks for the bit about the engines. The C3A has the same feature but I didn't do art showing it.

The underlying equipment is unremarkable at best - likely reliable above all I would assume.

It's likely a personal aesthetic choice but it looks more like a rocket than something truly space-worthy in my eyes.

As in all cases, looks can be deceiving. Perhaps you should exploit this as so many might simply let it fly by.

Some of the linked pages are not properly formatted:

Bad:
Code:
Title(Stuff)

Good:
Code:
Title (Stuff)
Note the space.

Other pages lack a title header.
Code:
====== Page Title ======
Brief Page Description

This will probably take a while to approve, due to the amount of pages and such. I will probably begin with the sub-articles since most of them are fairly easy and short.

I know it is a big submission and I'm sorry. I broke it up into the C3B Splash page with a link to the ship and a list of its components to make it a bit easier to go through. I went ahead and added an 'approved' and 'unapproved' list for the new products section which I plan to remove if everything gets approved, but should help with organizing what needs to be looked at for the time being.

I'd also like to stress that the design documents aren't part of the submission, they are just something I used to help organize things. They might be interesting to look at so I included them as well.

Aside from that, I fixed the titles and the missing headers.

Sorry it's taking so long.

The following articles have MODIFICATIONS NEEDED:

https://wiki.stararmy.com/doku.php?id=ne ... a-c3-e3102
- No actual range listed for single target mode
https://wiki.stararmy.com/doku.php?id=ne ... a-c3-e3103
- Hyperspace sensor listed as being able to detect "aether tech"
- "Detects side effects of pan-dimensional power systems (aether, hyperspace taps)" Not explained
https://wiki.stararmy.com/doku.php?id=ne ... a-c3-m3104
- Airlock size not listed. Suggestion, use this: https://wiki.stararmy.com/doku.php?id=in ... _standards
https://wiki.stararmy.com/doku.php?id=ne ... a-c3-p3101
- Should have some sort of explanation of how the ship rests on it during landings
https://wiki.stararmy.com/doku.php?id=ne ... a-c3-p3102
- Which one of the images is the engine or both? The page is unclear.

The following articles are UNDECIDED:
https://wiki.stararmy.com/doku.php?id=ne ... a-c3-s3101
- Not sure if I buy the idea of a shield generator actually inside the ship. All previous SARP shields have projectors on the hull, and we wouldn't want the shield's forces to act on the inside of the ship, believe me.

I don't know what you mean by LRU style FTL drive, the G3102 is supposed to be a small generator suitable for use in powering a starship rather than operating as an FTL device. I'm going to go ahead and change the name hyperspace tap to just generator in the basic description.

Also, that wasn't the intention of the bathrooms attached to the bridge. I realise I wrote that poorly so it has been removed entirely for now.

Everything else has also been addressed.
* Single Target Mode range has been added to the E3102
* Offending sensor entires have been removed entirely
* Airlock size set to 6m by 4m, standard large cargo airlock size.
* Description of landing gear entry changed. The P3102 are supposed to carry the weight of the ship not the P3101.
* P3102 image updated, fluff text changed to reflect what each of the pictures is showing and what the pourpose of the engines are.
* S3101 has been changed to be a shield generator, connected to shield projectors on the outside of the hull.
* Realized the new chair design is not actually used in the C3B, the crew module entry has been changed to better discribe the bridge and the new I3102 chair.
* My thinking with the designer atmosphere systems is that older designer atmospheres are older designer atmospheres for now, IE not the V3102. I want to go back and update the DD4 again as well as all the older ships but I want to get these entries approved first so the updates will go a lot faster. Basically I wanted to keep older models with the older systems and have the updated vertions all use the V3102. By doing it this way we'd get distinct ships, DD4-E, C1-B, C2-b Ect which should help with keeping track of what ships in GM's inventories have and have not been updated.
* Finally, updated the C3B page to reflect what techs have been approved so far.

Thanks for taking a look at this. I'll begin removing the 'needs approval' from all the articles and then list the components in the NAM starship systems page.
