The article should say whether or not it is safe for internal use.
 
100x magnification on a tiny lens like that is a bit much. That's basically better than every rifle scope in the setting.
 
Added a not safe for medical use bit.

Also, weapon optics are typically designed for operating well within a weapon's range not for maximum magnification. 100x makes sense for a recon device of this size.
 
Actually a useful little device, also good for looking in rubble for injured people.

A narrower version would be good for looking under doors, etc.
