Distinguishing Features: Aside from her androgynous look and Sadako-esque hair style, Camellia looks like an albino.

Psychological Characteristics

Personality: Camellia's and interesting mix of personalities. At times, she aloof, at others, she humble. Sometime she acts the flirt, and others, she casts a venomous glare to all who get her attention. In reality, Camellia is nothing at all as she acts, for she is an actress, able to pick and choose who she is, and how she acts as one picks a hat. Her true self has never been seen by any others, save her family. Camellia, at her very core, is insecure. She harbors within her many facades, a scared young woman, afraid to show who she really is, for fear of rejection by her peers. She hid within the shroud of masks so she could protect her true nature from that what she fears greatest, herself.

Likes: Reading Der Ring des Nibelungen, tinkering with Grane (The name she gives the Kyle she pilots), opera, singing.
Dislikes: Those without class, synthetic music, poor taste, rejection, skirts.
Goals: To be the first person to produce a successful Ring Cycle in the Empire.

History
Camellia was born into a small family of Geshrins who draw from Nordic blood. Her family is one of buskers, as such her father is a retired troubadour, or wandering minstrel, or bard. He was blessed with a plethora of ancient, but entertaining songs and stories, that were passed on to her. And her mother was an actress, though her career was restricted to minor musicals and various small time street plays. From them both, Camellia grew up with a love of the performing arts. When she reached the age of fifteen, the apparent normal age for a troubadour to go and seek their star to follow, she was given a gift, a comprehensive thick book entitled "Der Ring des Nibelungenâ€

My questions would rotate mainly around whether 'Der Ring des Nibelungen' exists. Referances to earth aren't really encouraged, especially something like an opera.

Uhm. Wes or Yangfan need to make a judgment here, and set president for later cases.

Indeed, that migh work. Although it would make something unique and very special about your character. I'm not opposed to that of course, individuality never hurt anyone, and a house passing down a relic from a long lost planet that everyone has forgotten about and who's existance is dubious at best, is certainly individual. On that grounds I'd like to hear what Thad has to say, when he comes back.

Well there is a question of whether 'Der Ring des Nibelungen' actually exists, even on Earth. Last time I checked it wasn't even certain that the Colonists even came from this earth. They're human, but that does not mean they came from a version of earth that had 'Der Ring des Nibelungen', which requires history to have been the same up to that point.

Actually anything to do with Earth is a difficult subject. I think we need to listen to the higher ups *points at admin*

I see no problem with that. If they nix the idea it'd be easy to remove. <_<

True I wanted it to be a part of her character, but if they say no, I can modify the work. I also find it weird why my characters always get these big discissions about them.

It seems a bit off to me too, just something even with how sparse the personality section is. I assure you it's not some conspiracy. Well, none that I know about, at any rate. ^^;

The measurements are well done, as is the description. Though I get the feeling she's being made out to be some sort of opera singing valkyrie of the YSA >.>

There's an Earth in NDI space, based on the real one. It'd probably have most Earth items available.

When I read the bits about the Geshrin being colonists based on Scandinavian and Japanese, I was hit with an idea. Why not make a Slavic character, there doesn;t seem to be too many.

... It's a book. Maybe it's a relic, or maybe it's a fake, or maybe it's just a fairly modern work that happened to have the same name as an Earth book. I doubt that anyone would be convinced that Earth exists because of the book.

Things that don't kill people or otherwise affect the RP should be given a little more leeway. :p

Yeah for Slavs and Middle-easterners! I'm glad Yosef's not the only one.

I think someone already beat you to that Ty.

On topic tho, this being an albino thing. Would that be allowable since Geshrin are engineered and such? Isn't being an albino considered somewhat damaging in certain respects? Like overly sensitive to sun and stuff? I guess you could just engineer the weaknesses of albinoism out and leave the appearance in. Just wondering on that. Not that I think it would be an issue since having an engineered group of people lets you toy with appearances like a painter with a canvas.

It's such a genetic abnormality I'd think no. There's nothing good about being one, either. No professional army would allow one, either ^^;

Having said that, I don't think she's actually an albino. She's just pale skinned. You know, like my 'Seattle tan' or Northern Europeans? :p

Use the report button (by the messenger buttons on every post) to let me know when it's ready for approval, alright?

Sadako, the angry ghost from the Ring, her hairstyle is straight down with part of the right side of her face showing.

It's also the same hairstyle Violet Parr from the Incredibles had before she got her suit.

Um, instead of comparing it to characters I don't know, please just alter it so it's a description.

It is described Wes...

I added that bit in the features becasue that's what her hair style looks like. Jeesh.
